Japanese Maglev Breaks Own Speed Record.

And that's what I call a bullet train... Some history. -
Now I understand what my father could think about my early skills on computers. I use computers since I was 6 or 8 years old, and Internet since I was 11. But the actual kids just makes me afraid. Isn't about skills on technology, seems to be that there are no more innocence or something like that.

Just a casual shot over the highway:

I've used Aircrack NG and Cain & Abel, and I find Wireshark confusing. In other way, a Tux monument for SC4.

Windows 7. Surprisingly it works in a 20 years old computer with Pentium IV @ 2.4 GHz, with 1.5 GB of RAM. It doesn't support Aero effects, but they're not necessary. -
I don't know why, but this video made me laugh a lot. I think is the stress...

Something weird happens with SC4 with Wine 1.7.34; not sure how it loads the plugins, but I doesn't recognize what is in the folder z__NAM, it doesn't recognize the european textures. Also it doesn't load the plugins after that folder. I'm now in spring vacations, so I'll keep looking what happens there. Meanwhile, I found this crazy video, I guess it is in chinese:

I have nothing against Windows... unless sometimes is too restrictive. I like WinXP and Win7 as well. But as my professor of partial differential equations said: Windows is only for play videogames... and sometimes I have my doubts on that. On other news: Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet final released: http://www.webupd8.org/2015/03/ubuntu-1504-vivid-vervet-final-beta.html

I like the slide presentation, but there are so many things to talk about it. Personally I like Win7, but this has gone too far. http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2009/09/microsoft-teaches-best-buy-employees-how-to-troll-linux-users/ Also, I've been something busy, but I'll try to keep this topic more alive .

Why I, of Irish descent, hate St Patrick's Day (in this country)
Alejandro24 replied to Mr Saturn64's topic in General Off-Topic
Well, now you know what I feel when in US 5 de mayo is party day, while here in Mexico is a day of militar remembrance. People in US has an interesting way to made everything a disneyworld. But don't hate your heritage, you know what the day truly means, don't pay attention to others. If it makes you feel better, there is a town in the beach, near Manzanillo, its name is San Patricio Melaque. St Patrick is the patron saint of that town, and in the day of St Patrick there is a big festival dedicated to him. Also, there is a memorial in DF for St. Patrick's Batallion. They're remembered in this day. -
And after a nearly springly heat weather, one more time the winter remembers us he didn't finished yet. At the progress of the last weekend the weather started to get more cooler. The forecast were of a cooling along this week with some clouds; but the lasts hours the forecast were betrayal and it is nothing like it were expected. Since yesterday its making cold and its raining. Today there were several storms and rainfalls around the metropolitan area, specially near Sierra Primavera there were also hail, and as it is habitual in every rain the traffic of this city is upside-down. Furthermore, over the mountains there have been registered surprisely sleet and some snowfalls since the morning. For the moment out is more or less 12°C with a chilly wind from the east. All the consequences of this: I got a cold, so tomorrow the day will be free to rest for me .
