Ok, I checked the forums as some of the buildings Ive downloaded also doesnt seems to be growing. It seems to be a problem with the game, its limiting number of buildings it can grow from each level, so some buildings will grow and some wont, its random. Devs are already working on the problem. So yeah, buildings seems to be fine but we have to wait for the patch to fix the problems with growing...

Thank you! To be honest thats what Im mostly interested in, low and medium density (although I like high density too), so I'm definitely going to make some! I use Blender, you can download it for free and there is a lot of tutorials on youtube (you can also check forums for help). Its not super easy to learn but if I could learn it, anyone can, haha. You dont really need any skills, just patience to go through all those long tutorials. I didn't know anything about Blender few days ago and now Im making buildings :D

Thats my plan too, I want to build asian/japanese cities :D Will definitely make more (and ill work on quality too...) If I may suggest, please upload this to Steam workshop too! Great work. Can't wait for the new one! (Already downloading Car repair shop! Keep them coming!) I put all my buildings to Steam Workshop :D My username is Roku there. Thanks!

I said in the description that they are "R$$", you can't plop residential houses so I thought it was obvious that they grow, but you're right, not everyone knows that so I should say that. So, yes, they will "grow" and people will live in them. Im not sure why is it so hard to grow them, like I said to the other person, I checked it in game and it works for me :(

I have a question. How much did they pay you for this? Aren't you ashamed for promoting this game? Aren't you ashamed that people may spend their money on this thing because of you? All you showed was nice views because thats all there is to it in this game, nice views. Problems starts when you want some gameplay. It's the same game for the 4th time, THE EXACT SAME GAME. I wouldn't be exited even if it would be a free patch, yet they ask 40$ for it. Have some self respect and don't buy it, people. The only positive review on Steams speaks for itself:

I'm afraid it means no... Which is a shame, but what can we do? We can only hope they will add it after release with some patch (or DLC?) or that the game will be modable to the point where moders will be able to do that. -
What does using the same engine has to do with it? Are Mirrors Edge, Bioshock, Mass effect and Gears of War any similar? They use the same engine...

This so much. Don't get your hopes up, people, I did last time! I bought Cities XL, turned out it was VERY average. Then they released Cities XL next year as a new game and I was stupid enough to believe it will be better, I bought it. THEY CHANGED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, just added new buildings. And then next year they did it again. And now they are trying to sell it ONE MORE TIME? No freaking way. That one more "X" in "XXL" won't fool me, lol. And even if they did make more changes this time, Im not gonna support them, they lost absolutely everything in my eyes because of what they did before, I will never buy anything from them ever again.

I don't know why people here are so exited. Did you play Cities XL? The maps are huge, but thats about it, there is absolutely no simulation there, same goes for difficulty level. They were also trying to sell the same game like 3 times already. They just added a new buildings, changed absolutely nothing and sold it as a new product. And now they are doing the same for the 3rd or 4th time, except this time they fixed the problems with the game? Im sorry but Im not gonna support that, it should be a free patch for those who bought the game, not full priced game!
