The Queen sends her regards, and has allocated the full force of the Illium Royal Navy 5th Carrier Division, commanded by Rear Admiral Felix Furrison, to support Schulmania. The Buggs will face the fury of the Air Group commander Nina "Ten Lives" Furrison (The admirals daughter), one of the most dangerous feline pilots to date. All hail Schulmania! Death to all Buggs! All hail Schulminion victory! Death to all Buggs! All hail the Supreme Wirdle! She rules supreme!!

oh, I can't wait for Project 57/Nam 31.

Fox, a) That's beautiful. Like really beautiful. b) Is that what I think it is?

Love it! Don't forget to start on the bridge/tunnel project! The Empire has already started on their end! Thankfully the seas are shallow all the way across (no more than 50 meters deep) from Illium to Asgard!

I know that many of you edit pictures and add holiday lights! Let's see em! (Snow shots count too, since it's commonly associated with the Holiday Season) Here's mine!

How did the Empire get 20th and 49? And the Protectorate made 40? Other than being blown away, I'm thankful! I must be doing something right!

Lucky. I can't get my 7-lane Ave to work, even with a median :/

Ion_Cannon, why are you so amazing?

-
Fox, I gotta get my hands on those seawalls, and those resort hotel buildings.
-
Oh, Ace, that looks beyond amazing. I'm jealous of your skills!

Oh no, the capitol is fine if that's what you'd like. It's your newspaper But you're welcome to alternate. Also, the Capitol is experiencing a cold snap right now, as well as New Dallas, with temperatures bottoming out around -2C and only getting to around 10C on warm days. Callia has weather similar to San Diego, CA, thanks to it's unique location. Morningstar Island gets rain. Lots of rain. The prevailing winds bring moisture across the Morningstar Bay after coming down from the cold mountains. Northfire City has weather like Denver, seeing as it sits almost 1900 meters above sea level, deep in the serenity mountains. Thessia sits in a jungle-fied area, so it's fairly warm year-round, with cold snaps during winter.

While Illium City is great, try throwing in some other cities in the Empire, like New Dallas, Thessia, Northfire City, Callia, or Morningstar. Also, excellent update, and great way to incorporate current events.

The Kingdom of Illium // ISIS Targets the Alliance

REPLIES: Hot Chocolate: Thanks! I'm still dragging along trying to finish this airport vivapanda: Thank you! And yes, airports are tough. tekkendust: Thanks! I am hoping to render these and make them useable ingame. wwetom1: Thank you sir! LexusInfernus: Thanks! And yes, I'm back! Again! Fox: It's exciting to roleplay! And no, Greystone Industries does dabble in cybernetic enhancements, but no world ending robots. raynev1: Thanks! Simcoug: Thanks. JJ inspired me Mastof: Yessir! Morningstar Island is a wealthy place, for sure. And thank you! Update: Well, I took a break from working on Sariah International. She's a huge airport, and I'm still working on it. It's unfortunately not finished yet (I had no idea this project was going to be so large. It takes up about 1/2 of a large city tile). I started to get bored of it, and that's never a good thing, so I decided to start work on New Dallas. Here's a quick little teaser. Don't let the pretty lights and warm houses fool you. It's bitterly cold outside with a gusty northwesterly wind swinging in from the central plains, with a temperature of -2 Celsius. Some meteorologists are forecasting snow soon! Either way, Residents of New Dallas have started decorating their homes! New Dallas city ordinances recently banned extravagant and/or distracting light displays. The city is primarily conservative, and the ordinances were not met with much opposition. So far, the city has been fairly lenient on residents, considering the holiday season is upon us. Happy Holidays from New Dallas and the Illium Empire! -
I swear I thought I had posted this somewhere, but i suppose not. Anywho... Here you go. The reason for the loop around on the eastbound exit ramp is because of the Hospital. The hospital, being a public service building, was exempt from Imminent Domain laws. The construction of the South Illium Bay Tollway was recently completed, connecting Eastbridge to Fariday, and allowed travelers in the south side of the Capitol Province to bypass Illium City completely when driving along the coast, eliminating congestion along the IH-75 corridor through Illium City. So far, after the opening of the SIBT, congestion along IH-75 has dropped nearly 25% during peak hours.

Northern Pacific Railroad Official Poll
SAVAGExPHOENIX commented on SimCoug's City Journal Entry in New SorGun
I'll say the same thing I said on the forums. Voted porthaven. I still stand by what I said earlier. I think the rail linkup will bring an economic boom to both the Northern Pacific railway and the local area. Once more money is made, the railroad could veer south, and head towards california, bringing in even more money and people, this way everyone benefits in the long run. Everyone's thinking short-term. Yeah, Materberg or New Sorgun might be better now, but what happens when Porthaven builds a port? Then they have access to sea trade, and with the railroad connection in the mountain, they have direct access to natural resources... Northern Pacific HAS to be smart enough to choose Porthaven. None of the 3 towns will have a chance of withering away. They'll be interdependent (Materberg with it's agriculture, New Sorgun with it's port and population, and Porthaven with the rail connection (which industry and the military need to connect to the rest of the nation) -

So fantastic! Regional flights are welcome at all airports. I know that Serenity Inter-regional and Morningstar International are both tourist hotspots. Illium Airways will be flying multiple flights daily in small domestic craft to multiple airports in Asgard.

The Kingdom of Illium // ISIS Targets the Alliance
SAVAGExPHOENIX replied to SAVAGExPHOENIX's topic in SC4 City Journals
Unfortunately, I didn't realize the scope this project would be. It's going to take me a few days to finish this airport, thanks to it's sheer size and complexity. (It's about the size of Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport) Thankfully, I've finished two runways, about 40% of the taxiways that run alongside the runways, and one of the six terminals (seen here). I've also finished the general aviation complex, which will be shown later. Enjoy! -
Sariah Int'l is going to take me most of this week to finish, considering its size. (Around the size of Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport) I've just finished the International Terminal.

Two new ones from me, also featured in my CJ. Both airlines' hub is Sariah International Airport, north of Illium City. -

REPLIES: Fox: Thank you! And it's good to be back. Sariah Int'l is taking a very long time to build, it seems. I'm determined to get it done. Thankfully, I have all day Sunday to do so. Raynev1: Thanks! If you go to page 3 or 4, you'll see the old incarnation of the Empire. It was a mess haha. Vivapanda: It's good to see you again! And thanks! I enjoyed making them! I'm sure you'll enjoy the maps I have here as a teaser... Texture maps. TEASER: As it's taking me such a long time to make this airport (I only just got my disc back a few hours ago), I made some things earlier today and yesterday. Sariah Int'l Airport is the hub for both Illium Airways and Greystone International Airlines (A Greystone Industries company). Here's two of their intercontinental aircraft, the Boeing 747-800 model. Just to keep you all interested.
