    Thank you very much!
  2. highway ramp questions

I had the same problem and found this post. I am finally able to do this service road style stuff, thanks. The thing is I wonder where do the overpass piece and avenue's stonemade central divider and sidewalk come from like in the image shown. I can't even get the avenue across the one-way road. Is it found in a special package somewhere? Other question, even though it might not be the right thread... do you know what the difference is between the Ground Highway Ramp-OneWayRoad Forward 01 and Ground Highway Ramp-OneWayRoad Forward 02?

Hmmm... Yes, it was supposed to be 14, not 15. The tutorial used 15 because that is the NAM depth. Buddybud always used 14 which is why, if you look closely, the "bleeding through" occurs in the tutorial images. Here's the same setup I made with a 14m depth... [image] You might want to be sure the terrain is flat and level the entire length of the highway. Perhaps it was 14 in one location but not in another... And for Jeronij's dependency file, there could have been files re-done into newer packs. I'll have to do a little digging... Bleeding through?

I have wished for some of these old railway hotels. Keep Canadian historic buildings going.

As I resumed playing the game after a good year off, I try out new things like the Road Widening Mod, namely to get rid of a traffic problem in an old way, a one-way loop (I'm not doing a great, classic job at designing with this new city), but in a new fashion, a three-lane, one-way road. And... for whatever reason, it seems the simulator couldn't get any vehcle to drive on that OWR-3, as only pedestrians used it! Once again the question: is this normal? @CaptCity 1: The solution worked. I guess my lay off from the game was so long I kind of forgot everything. 2: Well, that cul-de-sac looks oh, so very nice. Let's hope it'll work out so it can be made available at some point in the future!

Oh, thank you CaptCity. And by the way: that cul-de-sac we see at the end of the road... where can one get that?

Double-decker (el-rail+road) trouble... I'd like to make a straight-line rail line, with a road going in and then, out. However, the pieces don't connect properly. What could possibly be wrong?

I like the idea of the small parking, for uses such as the one shown in the linked Youtube video (-> near soccer pitches or baseball fields.)

Looking for avenues, roads, one ways, streets that would be made of cobblestone...

Same issue as doodlea21. Needs work, but the idea is too good to leave the way it is now.

mrbisonm : I wonder how you do it... posting your reply exactly 12 hours after the other one I just thought of something a bit weird. I have never really edited things, so... I'd like to see how much it went onto the street, do you have any screenshots? Did hang over on one side of the lot ? Or was it hanging on both sides ?
  15. Can't Find It? Ask Here!

OK. Now, I have found on the SimCity website Paris' Arc de Triomphe. I would have loved to insert it as a roundabout filler, but it is too big (3x2 I t. However, I wonder if anyone has a 2x2 version of the landmark, or if anyone thinks it can somehow fit on 2x2, even if it hangs juuuuuust a little on the edges. Can it actually be extracted and edited ? Maybe my message will end up on the suggestions for new stuff thread...
