Hey robin9000, you might want to try these: HKSAS Primary School Somy's Urban Elementary School (click the second picture on the page, the one with 'elementary school' beside it) And maybe give this one a try: Enyati Urban School (but this one functions as a high school as well and the radius is somewhat small for my tastes) [edit] Whoops, my reading skills leave to be desired today; I completely missed that you were looking for tall buildings with a small small base specifically. Well, The Enyati is somewhat taller but still is a fair bit wider than the maxis schools..and I believe that's as good as it will get. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Although very unlikely, I would like to add that there might be another possibility: a related registry key might be broken. You should be able to fix this by creating a new shortcut and deleting the old one but I suspect you will have tried that already by now. To quickly answer your other question: I created my own shortcut in vista by right-clicking on SimCity 4.exe, selecting "create shortcut" and altering the taget line, which was not greyed out, in the properties of the shortcut. I have played around with it since this thread came up but I can't get the target line to fade out (on my Admin account) by any means I could think of - write-protecting, moving the target file etc. Finally - I really got interested since I like to understand the OS I´m working with to some degree - there are some hits on the subject (vista greyed out shortcut target) in google but most seem to indicate specific microsoft programs. Those that do not concern microsoft programs all state the importance of administrative rights and give as the only other possible solution creating a new shortcut. So, Administrator rights is still the logical answer here but I wanted to make sure you at least tried the simple method of creating a new shortcut. If nothing in this thread helped there better be vista wizard reading this next.. (boy will I feel silly when in comes the other, simple, solution that always seems to exist)

Hmm.. sounds interesting. I am running Vista and can tell for a fact that this is the way to enable widescreen for Simcity. Are you trying to edit a shortcut you made yourself or one created by Vista? In the last case, you might want to try creating one yourself. Do not try editing the shortcut in Start>Games>etc. since this (I believe) is either a copy of the file it points to or the file itself. If it still won't work it could be the case you're missing administrative rights? (since it is your friends' laptop)
