SimCity 3000 Unlimited Recreations

Today, I have a special update in store - some recreations from across the globe in SimCity 3000 Unlimited. Before diving deep into SimCity 4, I played this great old game quite extensively - it was one of my all time favorites back in the day. After finally finding my long lost disc a while back, I was inspired to fire it up and give it one more go.

To make these pictures, I mainly used a combination of buildings from the game's American, European, and Asian tilesets, a decent number of the game's default and addon Landmarks, and whatever custom made content I could manage to find online. The building selection was still incredibly limiting - so I had to make the most with whatever I could get my hands on. For SC3KU, there's virtually no modding/customization options whatsoever, so I added some light photoshopping effects to finish off the scenes.

I hope you'll enjoy this little blast from the past *:)

@pedrovisk7 Thank you for the comment, I'm glad that you enjoyed the pictures *:) The buildings that you see in these pictures are either buildings from the games' Asian/Euro/North American tilesets, landmarks from SC3KU, addon landmarks (I think these on the STEX are it), and various custom made buildings that I found a while back across the internet.

Hi Korver,

Excellent work. I have been attempting to recreate my own new york with SimCity 3000.

I was wondering if you knew how I would be able to download some of the buildings from your city. If possible would you be able to post them here on the simtropolis site.

If so,it would be much appreciated.
