Hey everyone,

I'm a 19 yr. old male college student living in texas. I'm going to school to study broadcast journalism.

this isnt my first account, I have made a few to download off the STEX as far back as 2005 when I got rush hour, but I kept forgetting them since I rarely came on here. Since I am joining the forums I guess I have to keep up with this one lol

Hello all. I'm not all that new, but I don't post on the message boards much.

My name is Allen, and I teach English in Towanda, PA . . . I've been a SimCity addict since the days of Super Nintendo!

Lookinin of the Mapp Squad graciously created the map for Wysox -- the town I live in -- a few years ago. I am forever grateful!

Hello and welcome to ST!

Apostate: Just remember that RL is usually more important than the forums. Good luck with broadcast journalism!

Thanks, guys -- I love it here. I've got a quick link set up on my browser, and I kick around at least once a day . . .

It's really cool to see the diversity of people here -- people in their 30's like me, some older, many younger -- it's neat.

I've even put one of my students on to the site, but I don't know his member name . . . we talk Simcity at the end of every day :-)

Hello All!

I too am not new to this site, but haven't posted much. My name is Chris and I'm a freshman in highschool and I live in North-eastern New Jersey a.k.a the suburbs of NYC. I've been playing SimCity for about 1-1/2 years now and been on this site for about a year.

I am a mac user so I can't take advantage of things like the B.A.T., but I just got/was forced to get a Thinkpad so I might start soon. I think the people who make these beautiful buildings and that put them on the STEX are truly amazing, I doubt I could do anything close to the magnificent BATs that get put up there every day.

As you can see, i am rather new to this forum. Well, actually i have been here for a while, but havent been very active. So i guess its time for a chance. I'm 34 of age and comes from Tromsø, Norway. And as i can see, there is plenty of other Scandinavians surfing on this site.

I have recently been active on other fansites, and in particulare related to Football Manager. And have made much graphics for the game. Mostly facepacks but also some club logos and backgrounds. If you like the game and would find those grapich packs interesting, you can find some of them at :

http://www.sortitoutsi.net/index.php?page=blog&id=294

(Have been to busy to make anything for the last months)

Anyway, i hope that i might be able to also do some contribution for Sim City and Simtropolis. And are trying realy hard to learn Gmax and the Lot editor. It havent been easy, but the Tutorial on this site have helped me get starting. But there's been many confusing moments. For example, i spent about ten hours wonder why i couldnt get night lights in the windows. It felt i had tried anything when i found out that all i had to do was to write "nite" in front of the window name.

Its so funny when you finally get it right.

Howdy everyone! I've recently been re-discovering SC4, and I'm lucky enough to have landed here at Simtropolis... Then, after I joined, I figured that it would be pointless if I didn't introduce myself, so... howdy!

Hello:

I've been lurking around the forums for awhile, so I thought I should introduce myself.

I'm an engineering student from Canada. I like to make real-life cities. (Or at least I am trying to recreate Philadelphia.)

Hi.

I don't usually post in topics, but here goes:

I'm a student (yay!) from the lovely suburbs of California. I like to make futuristic cities and am a HUGE fan of the game. 4.gif

Welcome to ST folks!

Slackmasta B: It's good to know that you stumbled across this site. There's lots of good stuff here, but you probably know that already.

Joe887: Hmmm. . . You joined just a few days ahead of me. Nice to see you posting on the forums.

John94538: I've been reading your profile *gigles*. . . I don't have the NAM either (that's because I decided not to download it). If you can't download the NAM or anything from the Modds and Downloads section, it's probably because of your firewall. That's what happened to me.
