  1. Man all that content, and so little space to actually build it on.
  2. I think it's impossible. There's not enough space, and some structures (airport, tourist buildings, recycling center, etc) are huge area wise. Good luck all the same
  3. I pre-ordered at the last minute, literally a day or two before release, because, hey, I was excited for a new Simcity, and I figured I could get past the Always Online and the Small Maps. Of course, I was faced with the initial wash of problems of not even being able to connect to the game for a few days, which infuriated me to no end. Once I was able to play, I chugged through it, having some fun with the game, until something started making the experience frustrating, most likely traffic or neighbor connection issues. The most fun was one city where there was little traffic at the single border connection. I played for about a month or two after release. Then...well, things just became boring. I've barely touched the game since. I haven't bought the DLC for the game beyond what came with the Digital Deluxe edition, and I don't see myself buying them ever. The game has basically told me to never, ever pre-order an EA game ever again, and the Maxis brand does not stand for quality like it used to.
  4. Oh hey look, it's not working. What a surprise.
  5. house of worship?

Intelligent So...there's absolutely no intelligent towns ever? Sheesh. Anyway, I'm glad to hear they're introducing "houses of worship" again, although it'd be nice if they actually look like churches and not the mashed together structure from Simcity 4. Having the cemeteries return would be nice too, even if the space would be lacking.
  6. Digital Deluxe, upgrade? or not

    Not worth it at all.
  7. Yeah I can't do it. Well, I mean, I can, but blech it looks really ugly. I'll just wait for the magical 2.0 patch that might come out sometime in the next year.
  8. City Overrun With Criminals

Don't just abandon it. Destroy it. Use monsters, earthquakes, tornadoes, and meteors. Take revenge.
  9. Population Count Way Off

Four way intersections are a big no-no in this game, because the traffic AI is hilariously incompetent. Limit yourself to three-way intersections, and avoid having streetlights automatically appearing (some, like avenue-avenue intersections always develop them) at intersections. Basically do not connect a high density street to an avenue. It will cause traffic nightmares.
  10. Germs... how do i get rid of them!

Eh, sometimes it can't be helped. I've had new cities somehow receive air pollution, when polluting cities are nowhere close by, and not even upwind of the current city location. The wellness van is a decent solution to clear germs, except some buildings will always create a huge amount of germs (waste processing plant, any dirty power plants, landfill, and any streetcar stop that ever had a sick person).
  11. Whenever chunks of my city start needlessly complaining, I chuck a meteor at them. That's my solution. I lose some tax revenues, but generally my accumulated wealth can handle a negative balance until new residents move in.
  12. No. I wasted $80 on the Digital Deluxe pre-order. As much as the game has a tendency to be fun at times, the price has gone down to $40 at times within the first month of release. It feels like I burned a lot of money away. On top of that, the Digital Deluxe goodies really aren't worth it at all. Maybe if I was more patient, I would have been happier with my purchase, but this Simcity is nowhere near what I expected it to be, and it's still not worth the money I spent on it.
  13. I didn't have any problems, admittedly, but I frequently went to other speeds during disasters (which my city seemingly got a lot of, which was unusual compared to other cities) and my population is less than 150k. How big was your city when it happened? I mean, remember, we're still dealing with really bad traffic AI.
  14. Meh, I'm hugely indifferent to this issue. Sadly, even though they're getting nice checks from Nissan for this little ingame advertisement, I still see Sims 3 Store prices on anything that doesn't have a real life logo on it, which I can see starting soon.
  15. Aren't gamers entitled to a functioning, entertaining experience after many of them spent $60+ at release for a game? The server issue was a huge disaster upon release, but once people started playing, even regular gameplay is riddled with bugs and issues that can frustrate a player, especially as many of these bugs should have been noticed before release (Traffic, no implementation of RCI, the recycling bug, emergency vehicles being stupid, etc)
