Hi Everyone,

I'm glad I'm finally posting in the right area for new members.

A couple of the members from the board said hello last night when I made the mistake of posting in the wrong topic area.

I'm not good at remembering names first off so I appologise for not mentioning you.

Anyway I'm a 23 year old male living in Merseyside Uk and I've been playing sim city 4 with rush hour expansion for about 3 years and find it very relaxing and enjoyable to play.

Although off with health issues I hope to return to college sometime soon and start training for a career as a special needs Teaching Assistant.

Thanks for the welcome

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Sean

Hello new members:

I have to tell you that certain things don't look real in SimCity 4. Like the Train Checker that appears when you move around in city view. In most countries, the works vehicles supposed to be yellow.

hey everybody!!

Just re-installed my trusty-(somewhat) dusty copy of this great game....

and I can't say how happy I am to see an active community!!!

I never really got into custom maps, mods, etc. the first time I played, but with the wealth of content available now I'm a new Mayor 4.gif

Happy Building and again, another HUGE THANKYOU to everyone having a great time playing/supporting this game 4.gif4.gif

I'm 21, I install kitchen and bathroom cabinets, I live outside of Tampa, FL. I've been playing since the old Sim City 2000 on Playstation, and I build cities that reflect what I see everyday. Living in Tampa, thats alot of sub-urban sprawl and numerous strip malls and big box retail. Oh yea, and really bad traffic 4.gif. Thats about it.

Hello, Pokestyk here. Have lurked for a few weeks now and am ready to come from the shadows. Started on original SimCity and went nuts on the plan view. Did not know of SC2K but when SC3K was out, jumped on it. I became proficient enough to have some fairly large cities but didn't really know about the 'inside' workings of the program. SC4 was released, then Rush Hour....oh you know! Played new game per manual and previous experience, it was fun but soon became boring and I put it down for awhile (2+ yrs). Then recently discovered simtropolis and the energy is back. I thank you all for your insite and contributions. I must say I am a 'Gray Beard' and do not understand a lot of the terminology but with time that will hopefully change. As you may have guessed, I am also long winded in my posts. Hope to hear from you all and if I don't fit in, a simple STFU is sufficient. P>

Hi

I am a 18 yr. old high school senior from Ambler, PA. (Just outside philadelphia, northwest to be specific).  My name paceface comes from what all of my friends call me pace.  Only pace is to boring for me.  And i always find it to be funny b/c my "face" is the one thing you may never get to see. Anyway, I was first introduced to Sim city back in like 3rd grade, a good friend of mine owned I think SC 2000, then he moved away.  Towards 6th 7th and 8th grade i began to play Roller Coaster Tycoon a lot and eventually got into Warcraft and The Sims.  I dropped all of those for this game, SC4, which, by far, has been the single greatest investment of my youth.  I really enjoy a good movie with a twist in it.  my favorite beverage is a cold Dr. Pepper, and my favorite band comes down 2 The Beatles and Coldplay, i usally go back n forth betweent he two.  Currently i am taking a course on web design and hope to one day have my own SC4 website, but will see wha lies ahead with college and all of that stuff.
