Wow this is sad! I joined this site almost a year ago, and I have been mostly idle ever since. I havent even introduced myself in all this time.

Although this might be a little late...: Hi everybody! I'm a 19 year old college student, currently majoring in Urban Planning, and I'm thinking of minoring in Envornmental Science. I currently live on campus at Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY, but I'm originally from New York City. I am a bit of a gamer, and SC4 is on the top of my favorites list. I also religiously play Halo 2, XIII, Super Smah Bros and i recently rediscovered Super Mario 64.

Simtropolis is a cool site, with lots of great STEX content, and it has plenty of topics with great design ideas, so hopefully i'll post more often and i wont be such a stranger to y'all!

Hi

I'm 35, a high school teacher, living in Australia and looking for ways to link SimCity4 to the curriculum for mathematics students (year 9). I've started out with some of my kids looking at bivariate data. But if anyone has soem ideas on how to really integrate SC4 into the high school mathematics class, I'd be truly grateful. - Are there any teachers out there doing anyting along these line??

I have heard of SimCity 4 been integrated into geography before but never mathematics, its a interesting suggestion. I have the Building Architect Tool from SimCity.com which is a tool you can use to make new buildings for SimCity, I never use it but it looks like that has some maths included.

virtualjimbo, welcome to Simtropolis! Boy, it would make my day if I could have a math class that has SC4 in it! I'm not the person to ask, but there are 134,225+ more members on this site who can help you figure out how to integrate SC4 into math class, I'm sure. Anyway, enjoy your time here!
