I don't think I've actually introduced myself.

I've played for a while now: started last year but had to put the game away when I changed jobs. Then this year I got a new computer so I reloaded it and I've been addicted since.

I'm hoping to master the lot editor so I can start building some custom content for my upcoming regions.

First of all I apologize for the whole block of text.  I'll have to read the Beginners Guide again to get this formated right.<br /><p>My name is Daniel.  I am 24 years old.  I've lived in Florida for as long as I remember and I am currently a student at Florida State University.  I hope to become a filmmaker, I write short stories and screenplays, in addition to several fan fiction stories.  My current job is working Night Staff on Saturday night to Sunday morning (basically, Night Staff is sort of like security, but we do not have any law enforcement training, we keep up rules and regulations in the dorms, like if someone has their radio too loud in the middle of morning).<br /></p><br /><br /><p>I am interested in machinima (the art of making a form of media through the use of video games) and have done two short films with two different engines (one using Need for Speed: High Stakes and one using The Sims 2).  Right now, I am plotting out a machinima comic book fan fiction series set in the universe of the new Battlestar Galactica TV series (working title: Battlestar Galactica: Born to Run) and have recently purchased Sim City 4: Deluxe Editionto help in creating the metropolis setting of Providence on the planet of Picon (the setting for the first set of stories of the series), as well as possible other towns that the characters encounter throughout the series. </p><br /><br /><p>The premise of the series follows a small group of survivors, who start off as prisoners of war, on the run from the Cylons on the planet of Picon. As of right now, I am plotting out a preface story called Sheba's Story, which follows Captain Elle (Sheba) Malfi (one of the characters in the group) from being accused of sexual harrasment on board the Battlestar Solaria to being found in a bar not too long after the attacks on the 12 Colonies.<br /><br /><p>And looking at most of the the lots and props in the downloads section, I must say I am really impressed with all the buildings (I may be tempted to feature a few of them in series).  I hope everyone keep up the good work.    I'm still trying to find the right resources for the series, but it's a task.</p><br /><br /><p>I apologize for the rambling.  Sometimes I say too much or not enough.  But never the less, I must say this site is to Sim City 4 as what ModTheSims2.com is to The Sims 2.  What a great site.  </p>
