  1. Yeah I was worried about the game not being able to play because of its older technology. Another question would be is it better to run the game on a Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating system? And I imagine that in the event I buy a touchscreen laptop, the touchscreen ability would not be compatible with the game; would it cause the game to not perform very well?
  2. So it seems that a laptop would be better than an Ultrabook at running a game like SC4, so my next question is what are the optimum specs that a computer should have to run SC4 Deluxe with at least 8GB+ of downloads? Other functions I would use the laptop for include social media, streaming video and music, and using Microsoft Office.
  3. Hello, I have been away from SC4 for a few years now, and I have recently been interested in playing again. Problem is I need a new computer that I prefer to be a non-desktop computer. While I do believe ultrabooks will run the game itself smoothly, I'm not so sure that it would run smoothly with the copious amount of downloads I get from this site. Does anyone play on an ultrabook that can share their performance experience? Also, are there other types of computers I should look at? Thanks!

  7. Show us Your Interchanges!

I've been following this thread for a long time...great interchanges everyone! I'll post some if I ever get all my plugins again. Will_Colorado: Where did you get those power lines? I want those!
  8. How do YOU name your cities?

My names are just random. Sometimes, I'll use the names of towns around me. Other times I'll combine the first words that pop in my head. I've also used cities from the Bible, like Galatia and Corinth. The naming depends on the moment I guess.

That picture really makes me want to play SC4 again...too bad my PC crashed.
  10. What did you get for Christmas/ Hannukah?

Zildjian ZHT China Cymbal to add to my drum set Camera case 8 GB camera card 8 GB flash drive Wireless mouse for my laptop Guitar stand Rock Band 2 for my Xbox360 An interestingly constructed CD case Voice command alarm clock Gift card to Sonic and Target (Oddly the gift card to Sonic was more than the one to Target! You make some very good points, Shingure. I might have to play God and destroy some unwanted, out of place stuff! But anyway, thanks for the positive review!
  12. The Official City Journal Critics Thread Archive

Looking at Eddie's latest review, I suggest that all critics do their reviews in bright-colored fonts like the red that Eddie did. It makes it easier on the eyes and attracts more readers IMO (I know I'd rather read a long, brightly-colored block of text than a long, automatic black colored block of text). I'm loving these reviews, everybody! I MIGHT submit my CJ LATER, but for now I'd rather wait. Good job, everybody!
  13. The Official City Journal Critics Thread Archive

I think that the critics should provide the link to the CJ that they are reviewing, like Eddie did, because I know I don't want to go searching through pages to find these CJs. Just my 2 cents.
  14. Did you chose your religion?

I was raised Baptist and remain Baptist to this day. I'm not one of those people who just stay the way they was raised because that's the only thing they know. My choice to stay Baptist comes from the Word of God and from informing myself about other religions.

There really is no such thing as a Christian way to drive. Plus, God/Jesus would never tell someone to hurt somebody else.
