THAT

is absolutely delicious. Can't wait to get to use it.

You're making too many cool roads, and I'm running out of RAM.

When do we get underground tram stations? CO pls.

it's the pavers - they're all cut and sawn bluestone and the kerbs are teh same but a different saw grade

#WIP Updated with those sexy transition tram roads, I decided to opt for a more melbourne style to match my tram set from a while ago so these feature the true melbourne Bluestone pavers:

Let me know what you guys think!

A version with two lanes in each direction (and one lane where there stops are) would be nice. Otherwise i have to say that this must at least one of the best tram roads I've seen.

Pretty transition! If only the parking and bike lane positions were flipped, but still looks nice :)

nah never gonna flip them, they're never like that in melbourne, and as these are melbourne roads got to keep the near death experience of cycling realistic ;p

They are also this way in Cologne, Germany at some spots btw.

Makes it more thrilling as a car driver to reverse into a parking space in the dark while some cyclists are riding there without any lights... ;)

I know you're busy with real life but I've been silently lurking here waiting for updates because this is really mind-blowing!! :D I didn't even think this sort of thing was possible just using the asset editor.

it kind of works but kind of is tricky so I'm still worried that most people will haven problems, it's not just a simple upgrade and go option. And i will hopefully be able to get back into stuff after June 15th! that's my last submission for uni this semester. thanks for being interested and i'm sorry it's so delayed!

Wow! That's actually really great! How did you achieve that collisions are ignored? :)

Hey BP, do you happen to know if there is a straight tram end track with a crossover that allows the trams to switch directions?

actually I've tried this in the editor, and although it's possible, and the tram line recognises the change in direction, the tram vehicle AI itself cannot reverse direction, it can only head forwards (which is why they have to loop as part of the vanilla gameplay)

Yeah, I was afraid that was the case. Thx for the answer.

I've been nagging for it to change for a while but i doubt it will

Those Melbourne tram roads look great. Any chance of a version with trees? I might be mistaken but I have some memory of someone making Melbourne style tram shelters as props.

So far so good, but the trickiest part of this build to make it work as I intend is yet to come.

Stay tuned, and hope that it all works out and i can release :)
