like that pack that are ploppable container ships but nose for fishing boats.

^ Well, you could use marsh's terrain mod [link], which he used to create his own wild west region (CJ here, entries 42, 44 and 47), though it's not a "traditional" desert wild west style mod what you might be looking for.

Hey all,

I'm getting back into the game and am determined to use GLR for certain areas of my city. However, I have a sidewalk replacement mod that would conflict with the default draggable GLR texture. For reference, the texture used in SFBT's Tram Museum is what I'm using: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=14533. I know that I could just puzzle piece the whole thing, but I was wondering if there were any GLR texture replacement mods for draggable GLR?

Hi,

First of all, I did search for suburban schools on the STEX. The results are basically unrelated to what I searched for. I dont know if this is just me or if it happens to everyone else, but when searching for something on the STEX, it only looks at the description and not the title. So most of the time, you get stuff that is unrelated to what you searched for.

Second of all, I am STILL looking for some good suburban schools. Mainly the ones made from the 90's and on, with the typical creative designs. I'm not looking for the typical 60's paneled school. Also, keep it North American. I am trying to make my suburbs as realistic as possible. I'm looking for elementary schools and also high schools. So if anyone could post some good suburban, 90's and on elementary schools or high schools, that would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance to anyone who posts.

P.S If possible, try to include more than one school, I dont want all of the schools in my city to look the same! That would not only lead to a sore looking suburb, but it would also look somewhat unrealistic

Does anybody have a link to where I could find something that goes under Monorail / EL and under Elevated Highways. Anything really, parks, concrete, parking lot.

It would really be helpful because just bare underneath one of these things looks kinda odd, especially in a downtown core.

There's the SFBT's Urban Highways (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2315) for the Maxis highways, and there is also an El Mod that turns the ground underneath concrete, but it caused problems in my game and I wouldn't recommend it. You can also just put El right over highway with NAM if that makes sense for you.

There are the grass el-rail embankments by morifari [here] (and a station to go with it here), which are overhanging and so work with all the one-tiled elevated networks. There are also the S-Bahn shops which work the just same way. [link] Deadwoods has also done under rail shops, but his ones are not overhanging but instead TE-lots, plopped directly on the el-rail or monorail line. [link] and [link]

^^ Hi, I'm pretty sure it's not on the STEX, but it is definitely on the LEX at SC4D.  You'll find it bundled in with a few other lots in this single upload by Caliban LINK.  You'll need to be registered for the LEX as well as the SC4D forums to be able to see the download link... just in case you didn't know that already

Included in this download by Swamper (Link) is a file named Swamper/Peg's NoRailDirtMod that will eliminate the textures created by development next to rail. If that is the only effect you want, you will only need that one file. There is also at least one mod or two that changes the textures next to rail (Peg has one)...
