I had a Parking Lot pack from a couple of years ago. They were open air parking lots that came in 1x1, 1x2, 1x3 , 2x2, and 3x3 I believe. They were usable and I loved using them, but can't find them through the search. Thanks!

Good try, but that isn't it.  The mod I'm looking for blocks mansions specifically, it still lets larger density r$$$ buildings get built.

AatHome - you can use this 6X8 Large Park with pond https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=4076 (i like this one) but you can use modular parks from BSC Simgoober or Deadwood and then there is Paeng's one... just search for them on the STEX

Hi there,

I've been looking for the past half an hour for how to connect NAM parts (such as TRAM in Avenue for example) to neighbours. I'm sure I've seen this somewhere, but I can't find it.

I have a avenue that crosses the region, and I want to connect it all with the Tram.

Can someone point me to the files that allow me to make neighbors connections with NAM parts?

It really is quite simple to make such a connection. So simple that I myself at first couldn't fathom it. You simply just plop the tram piece on top of the neighbour-connection and voila! Another possibilty is of course to use the transition pieces between tram-in-avenue and subway. They can be found here (linkie. You have to register at sc4devotion.com to be able to download)

Hey, A while ago something similar to the Bullet train modd was uploaded to the stex.

It looked a little different, and if I recall, only had one column under it instead of two.

Also, It was just someones individual mod, not part of NAM, etc.

I am preparing to start a new region, and I am gathhering plugins for it. This site is an amazing resource, and I have found a lot of things here, However, there are a few things that I'm looking for, but can not find. I am hoping that some of you may have some suggestions

1) A very dark water mod. Not dirty, just dark. So far, the darkest one I can find is Peg's Brigantine water, and I will use it if I have to, but I would love to find something just a little darker. None of Pegasus' other water mods are dark enough, so if any of you have any suggestions...

2) I am looking for a more modern skin for Elevated Rail/GLR automata. I have found lots of single car tram options, but I'm looking for an actual train. Most of the ones I'm finding are older styles or are too blocky. I'm looking for something like this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:ETS_Car1039_SD160.jpg or similar, linked up as trains. Barring that, who would be a good person in the community to approach about custom skins for El-Rail?

Maxis wont let me register my game because I tried to register a while ago but it never let me but it kept my game number in the system. So if anyone has that file, that would be great if they could email me it of if someone would tell me where i can find it, that would be great too.

@JayStimson - That's not el-rail, it's the elevated heavy rail puzzlepieces. It is part of the NAM. I believe (though I'm not sure) that it's an optional feature you have to select when installing NAM.

I think I recognize the puzzle pieces now. I have them in the June 2009 version. Now I'm curios how they work with the el-rail station. I know how to mod things pretty well but aside from LE'ing the el-rail station with the approriate props and changing the transportation to rail, I'm at a loss when it comes to the rul files to get the correct height. Anyway, thanks for responding. I guess I just didn't recognize the pieces. Must be old age coming early.

Does anybody know if anyone has ever (properly) done the United Nations building in New York. I'm thinking about making it myself, but want to be sure nobody else has done it first. For such a well known building, I'm surprised I can't find one floating around the STEX.

@cockatoo - I have never seen nor heard about that building for sc4. My guess is that it doesn't exist - yet.

@slimboj - that is a cosmetic mod for RHW version 3, I believe. I don't know if they have been updated to version 4 yet. There's one by Xyloxadoria [link] and one by mrtnrln [link] (it's attached in the post).
