Is there something that can deal with water and air pollution? Basically a building that removes all water pollution, and another building that removes all air pollution.

this is obscenely cheaty but it works.

Don't place more than a few and then delete them.  It triggers some crazy pollution if you do that.

The park is called Sao Sing Sa. Still can't find it unfortunately. Let me check my backups. Maybe I can fish it out of there.

Well that was easy: Sao Sing Sa

Hi, I need Sao Sing Na too ! But the link provided above is not working anymore. Do you (or somebody else) have it on your HD, and if so, could you send it to me as attached file ? Thank you in advance. Pascal

@monkeywater , about your question.

it u have sc4 tool , change "air purification" LOT

and when u change data , about "air pollution" don't over 888 ,

then remove air purification , not any more bad things happened.

It's only tangentially a "Can't find it” topic, but I am posting here too : it's about findingLBT Texture Pack 2.  --or, actually, not finding it because it has been deleted when replaced by LBT MegaTexture Pack 2-.  I have been made aware of a discrepancy between those two packs. The new one (Mega Textures Pack 2.) is supposed to include all the textures of the #1 & #2  but it doesn't. I'm afraid some textures were dropped when the Mega Pack was built.

Being an old timer, I do have the old pack, which has long since been deleted ; I never throw anything out because -- being an old timer, as I said -- I've noticed that some older lots sometimes have problems with new dependency packs ;  I happen to use this one in my lots or relots. For instance, recently, in the TL-Anubis OldTown Station set ; that is when one downloader contacted me because of various missing textures. During the testing, I sent him my own LBT Textures Pack 2. It solved the texture problem. Q.E.D.

Can anything be done about this ?

Not the weird multiple hexagonal building in front.  The pie-shaped slanty blue one right behind it.

Also the building across the street to the right of the blue triangle, the white high techy looking building

Was wondering if anyone knew what this building that is circled in red is? It looks like a nice midrise building.

Are there puzzle pieces available that can pull off GLR over sunken GHSR? For the life of me I can't find the right ones.

There are on-slope GLR pieces (find them in either the Puzzle GLR or Drag GLR menu, near the end), which actually convert the network to El-Rail. It should be possible to get El-Rail over G-HSR. Due to the age of the pieces, I have a feeling you're going to need to make the trench 3-tiles wide around the crossing though.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Thanks, I found those onslope GLR pieces, but they are 3 tiles long with the end one having a pylon.  So I would actually need to make the trench 5 tiles wide (7 with slopes included) instead of 3....vs 1 for rail.

El rail over GHSR is no problem, just doing a sunken network for a single is proving difficult.

However on sc4d I just found this image (4th post)  indicating that doing exactly what I want over a sunken road is doable...

https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=4623.0

And then I found this on the simtropolis forms from 2008....

Hillary-Nov26001223710748.jpg

So it has gotta be doable...

(Also, how does one get the enclosed street and GLR bridges over sunken rail?)

I think the white techy thing might be something from JSteed (looks like it, at least) as the blue one is (Yokoso Building)... Searching... Searching.. Yes : JSteed Akazemboz Consulate. The creator is a recent Simtropolis member but he used to be on CapitalSimCity (I think.)

The water pit is made up from ploppable water (most likely Peg's) and these walls; https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=168

The pipes probably belongs to the industrial lot you can see part of in the upper left corner of the image

Don't use the regular on-slope, but the special T one with the street. You can place these so the arrows are on the embankment slope, with the street at the bottom. You can overlap two such pieces also. Once in place, drag out street from either side, then delete the street (not including the overpass piece) to remove the street. Then you can drag whatever network you like underneath. Bear in mind these on-slopes do not have starters for GLR however.

Found that, thanks!  I did not know about the street being able to be dragged over.  It works with rail and roads, however GHSR fails and needs its puzzle piece, preventing a 1 tile wide trench.

Makes sense I suppose, since G-HSR is a re-skin of Monorail which runs at L2, which is the same as El-Rail, there is no code for a direct crossing without the puzzle pieces. But you can work around the problem.

  • Build the G-HSR first, remove the tile where the overpass will be and one further on either side of it.
  • Add in the GLR/El-Rail T On Slope pieces.
  • Drag street through and then remove it again, being careful to avoid the middle of the new viaduct/bridge (this step may not be required).
  • Select the RHW Disconnector tool, click that on this middle section to remove it without disturbing the on-slopes.
  • Connect up your G-HSR.
  • Place the El-Rail over G-HSR puzzle piece to complete the setup.
