I'm looking for a lot with the sole purpose of creating pollution. My city always fills up with High Tech Industry and I never can get it to feel dirty. I need some pollution.

Droidika has created {this set} which contains lots that each increase one of the 4 pollution types (air, water, garbage, radiation) by a good deal.

You should probably be careful with using any lots that drastically changes the pollution levels. Anti-pollution lots are known to create lots of pollution if they get demolished, for example.

I need some terrain mods. but please not the one by Cycledogg.

Heblem has created quite a few terrain mods, mostly replicating terrains around Mexico. {Yucatan}, {Cumbres}, {Chihuahuan}, {Bajio}, and {Californian}. He's also created tree controllers to match these terrains as well. You can find the trees on the first page of his {STEX contents}.

Can someone please give me a link to the texture mod, US theme pack for roads? Well, it's US Theme Pack and I can't find it on the STEX. I'll give a short description: It makes your roads more realistic, but Americanized. It changes the intersections to make them more realistic too, and gives road ends culdesacs, but works with NAM. You can get your roads to have grass medians by the sidewalks just like the streets sidewalks. I can't find it, but want it real bad!

Does anybody know another mod that allow me to install posts and trees on diagonal streets? My sims will be really grateful.

Well, I don't know about lights, but I have a numerous amount of diagonal streets and US theme pack, by NAM, in my suburb, and have noticed no trees or lights either. Well, the reason why is that when you build on them, the sidewalks are really close to the street and have no grass median. Do to it being so skinny, there may not be many props on those type of streets. I have a picture.

On the right of the picture and the left, I have diagonal streets, but nothings on them. I don't think you can get any props on them. This pictures old, and since I've removed the sidewalk mod and got US Theme pack, I got streetlights now, but still nothing on my diagonal streets.

Hello, I'm not sure if this has been answered yet (this thread is very long and I cant search every page), but does anyone know where I can get the glass-roofed stadium mentioned on page 1? It kind of looks like Forsyth Barr stadium in Dunedin, NZ but I'm pretty sure its something else. Regardless I've searched everywhere and I cant find it - Is it even available? does anyone even know the name?

I recently started a new region and I am getting an unrealistic amount of r$$ and r$$$ houses popping up. Also a few c$$$ buildings. At a population size of 3,000 with the only civic service being a small fire station I am getting well over 50% of my houses being at least r$$ with I'd estimate 10-15% being r$$$. On my previous region I would only spawn r$$$ when I had offered all of the civic services (police, fire, garbage, water, schools, parks, etc...). What gives? Is there a mod that I can download to fix this or perhaps a mod that increases high wealth spawning that I might have downloaded from STEX and need to remove? Thanks

You might try the SFBT Street Mod. It provides some diagonal coverage, but I'm not sure if it does it for all wealth levels...

Yes, I don't want to stop the mansions completely but I just want to slow them down a little.

i have gotten all the dependencies listed on the readme that comes with it & not what the page recommends me to do which is to download Deadwoods' full list of dependencies. I just need to find out what dependency is required for the mod's base texture.

That's what I also thought, but whenever I plop one of the Ped enabled lots (the one found on the parks menu) as soon as time passes (I always do my item plopping with time paused) the lot would suffer from the "Water Bug" that these other downloads suffers from:

Woah! 3gigs of custom content already ;)

The water bug is when an affected lot "visually" (visually only as the lot does not actually lose it) looses it's base (base textures mostly) when you enter the water utility menu. The visual loss of the base textures also happens in a few rare instances even if you do not access the water utilities menu which has happened to me in a few instances when I used this mod.

Hmmm... and after this little discussion I to experienced this freakishly "water bug"... so i went "info-hunting" and came up with this quote from sc4devotion forums:

You are witnessing a game bug known as "Water graphics bug". This bug pops up when a lot has its base texture removed ( but does have a overlay texture ). In the game every lot needs a base texture ( try saving a self-made lot in Lot Editor without one and you will see its not allowed ) When you change zoom levels, save or go in underground mode the bug will raise its ugly head.

There are two remedies:

1. Don't use lots without base textures but with overlay textures.

2. When the bug shows, go in and out of underground mode edit: data views - Zonesand the lot might go back to its original image.

Its a Maxis bug that can not be helped in any other way then i have mentioned.

Hey Gang,

So I was wondering and searching ... searching and wondering if anyone knew of any buildings other than but likejonM's buildings for fractional angled roads (FAR). I have a riverfront area in one of my cities that for about 4 6tile blocks is a fractional angled road and I just wanted to fill up the edge for a few landmark/ploppables or whatever buildings that fit. I have the BLaM 111Huntington Ave. building and was just wondering if anyone's seen any others with a FAR side?
