Thanks for sharing, looks great! :)

I've just moved this to the main general BAT forum, since it was posted in the team section.

Also no worries if your main language is Spanish. It just might be helpful to provide a translation (e.g. from Google), as most people speak English here.

You're doing a very good model indeed!
However I think you didn't resize it, right? If you didn't, select the scale tool and increase it vertically 133% (1,33), it will make the building's height looks like it really is. You have to do it in every model you do to SC4, so I suggest you to always model the building with the original measures and after you finish it you resize it. :)

Wow, that's a great model, surely this cannot be your first BAT?

The main textures look a little bright to me, but that may just be the render, would have to see it placed in-game.

Whilst you can find textures in many places, learning how to create them from scratch often provides much better results. If you've not yet seen it, here is a great tutorial to get you started making your own:

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

Well, in fact, since i start learning to make my own BAT's I have been practicing with this model, over and over again, from approximately one and half year (I'm still learning) so I can say that it's the first that I made and i'm polishing. When i obtained some practice and skills, I modelled something small to try to get some impressions and it was the 277 275 Water Street.

I have not seen that tutorial. More material, thank's.

translate this if something was unclear

No he visto ese tutorial. Más material, gracias.

Looks great so far, bit I'm not sure about that spotlight. There is no light source to be seen, so the spot seems somewhat random. Did you take this photo as a reference? It looks like the light is coming from some spotlight that's not part of the building. This means that the night lights will look a bit odd if the building is there, but not the external spotlight. For optimum versatility, my humble suggestion would be to simply leave the spotlight out.

I like the interiotr lighting at the ground floor, however it looks pretty empty there. Are you planning to model the interior, or do you think about using a night texture for the windows?

Superb start into BATing! Beautifully modeled and textured. I agree with T Wrecks previous comments. Only thing I might also add is ambient occlusion on all of the dirty roof textures (and maybe the adjacent walls). This creates darker areas around the edges and in the corner, which adds a tad more realism and rounded off look. You can enable it in Special Effects tab when you use an Arch&Design material (instead of Standard material)

i can't find anything that allows me see what is in the ground floor interior, even google street view show it empty, like remodeled recently... so... i don't know what to add in that area. I was thinking in create a office space with tables and photocopy machines and stuffs like that. Regarding to light blue spotlight, in every night picture that i got of this building, that spotlight is there, make me think that it belongs to the night building ambient but i understand what you are saying, loses some realism if there is not something you put that light there. I think that the spotlight is on the upper highway illuminating all the exterior.

Thank's for the suggestion andisart i will try it

I'd also opt for leaving that light away since it doesnt belong to the building and therefor is bound to the New York location, in that context. To build the BAT in another city would be making more sense if it is generic lights.

Maybe add some sofa/benches like in often found in lobbies?
