From the mod description:

All assets are spread into large groups (see options entry screenshot) and those groups can be enabled/disabled through mod's optons. You can also open this mod's config file ( %LocalAppData%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\TrainConverter-Config.xml ) and add exclude="true" to assets you don't want to be converted. Example of excluded asset item:

You can also add your own conversions by adding the above line to some asset group (without exclude="true" of course). Make sure you added line to correct asset group (like <underground-trains-to-metro>) and that group is enabled in mod's options. Each asset can only be present in one group. Please make sure it's not already present in a different group before adding it (it it's present just move it from one group to another).

@delta2k5 i will use the converter, but what about the 7000 series wmata cars? are they going to be made as rail vehicles or as metro overhaul mod vehicles? and when?

I got too much stuff irl to do to give you any schedule on when I'm going to do what, sorry. Probably I'd create those as mom-only vehicles, if I gonna do them at all (I've so many other unfinished vehicles atm which I'd love to finish at first + some who need to be updated).

@thomas67 aerial cable cars are not yet supported. it might well be a new transport type.

I think he meant that if they were to be implemented, they'd have to be added from the bottom up as an entirely new mode of transport - which would probably take a LOT of work to do.


When do we get underground tram stations? CO pls.

For some reason, the elevated pillars are not showing up at all. I've checked the asset list to see whether if the assets were loaded and they are.

I have this problem with MOM: when I delete the station ( it was at an angle), the tracks remain and the zoning squares are affected.

How can I solve this?

@ancellim i don't know at the moment, same thing happened to me when i was using underground train stations. delete the tracks until a solution is found.

I would like to see an elevated metro station that is on a 4 lane road instead of a 2 lane road like every elevated metro station I see, it could be like this but longer so to fit a metro train:

The reason why is so that people can build elevated metro lines without having to draw a whole grid of two lane roads which is terrible for traffic. At the same time, it also gives a reason to use the stock 4 lane road since the seemingly useless traffic island in the middle can allows pillars for the metro track above to be built on. As of now, anyone with the NExt mod has no use for the vanilla 4 lane road since the 4 lane road in the mod is cheaper and is more aesthetically pleasing.

@Dejected Angel the only problem is with the way medium roads slope with the terrain, whereas the two lane road used in Elevated metro maintains its height no matter what slope it's put on. 
even if it was possible to place a medium road under the station, you would have to use anarchy to have the metro rail continue beyond the station as the pillars collide with the road. not everyone has or uses anarchy so it wouldn't be that popular either. 

the only way around the first problem is to tell people to use the station on 100% flat land but 99% of the subscribers never read the description telling that so there would be problems...

Not a problem, in reality, these are only built on flat surface just like you said. And if the subscribers don't read the description, that's their fault for not reading it in the first place.

Also, you said anarchy is needed to have the metro rail continue beyond the station. Well, don't you already need it if you're trying to make a line with the elevated station required? Also, what kind of primitive Neanderthal still don't has Road Anarchy in this day and age? Do they live under a rock or something?

There are plenty of good tutorials on youtube, and plenty of free programs that can be used. C:S has a VERY simple set of tools for creating new assets. It requires no coding at all!

Why not make one universal station floating on the ground and put support structure as plop asset instead?

One station to rule them all.
