I think we have now reached the point where the 2014 trixies are going to have to be joined with the 2015 ones, either that or it is going to be a Christmas present.

I think at this point, we'd be expecting a new round of Trixies for this year. If it ends up being a double Trixie announcement that just would be something else.

They are requesting donations so I guess you're right. 

I've thrown some into the pot maybe if we get enough together we'll have enough to ransom the trixies.

I too cannot resist a personal appeal like that.  However, I think the Trixies may very well wind up as a single announcement in the new year.

It feels like by the time the Trixies will come in, we will already be seeing flying cars en masse.

Don't ever bet on flying cars.  EVs, yes.  Airborne, no.  The reason is that few will ever walk away from an "aircar" crash, so the whole system would have to be completely automated.  The cost would be staggering.  You'd have to file a flight plan just to go to the corner store.  I think ST transporters are more likely.

I wasn't saying i'd endorse the idea; it was more joking about the Trixies not being available until the far future. Considering how many drivers tailgate and cut me off, I wouldn't trust the average driver at the controls of any flying vehicle either.

Fairly soon I suspect, as today to the first of May is 219 days or something like that, and back to the 31st of May is something like 189 days.
