Juvelen, Uppsala.

To be quite fair, this building doesn't actually exist just yet. The foundation is being prepared at the moment and it's expected to be finished in 2017, but this is barely getting any recognition even in the city it's being built! I think it deserves more. :)

Stadiums! D:

New Vikings Stadium, Minneapolis, MN, USA - Still under construction but it's already looking like an icon for the Twin Cities

Grand Stade, Bordeaux, France - I just love the architecture of this stadium, the flimsy structural poles make quite an allusion to a forest, which I like :P

We all like cool and modern stadiums, but sometimes the real football ambient feel can be felt in places like...

Stadion an der alte Försterei, home field of 1. FC Union Berlin; the city's "second" team. Quite an old stadium, with an "English" design, where everybody watches the game standing. Quite unknown by the normal football fans of the world.

The Gasometer (old gas tanks) in Vienna, Austria. I really like this one, because they even built buildings inside the buildings ... ^^

I love buildings with green roofs :golly:

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

"Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible." - Frank Zappa

"The wisest men follow their own direction." - Euripides

Say no more. I wanted to post that church too, but you beat me to it. Here's a picture I drew it one year ago for art class. I've been wanting to BAT it for quite a while now, but I found it to be too tedious.

I like
-old Russian wooden architecture
-brutalist architecture
-futuristic architecture
-oriental/asian architecture

This is Desert House, located in Southern California. Really looks like a martian house.

Of course, this topic isn't complete without Dutch buildings:

Dehoftoren_01.jpg

Hoftoren, Den Haag (or The Hague, as you call it)

foto.jpg

JTC (a high school), Roosendaal (near where I live!)

montevideo2.jpg

Montevideo, Rotterdam (and little building in the front is Hotel New York)

Next time, I'll post something about old Russian wooden architecture.

that thing was for sale not too long ago, the Doolittle House in Joshua Tree, CA, designed by SD-based architect Kellogg. 4.6k sqft sitting on a 10 acre lot and initial asking was $3mio.

good luck trying to lokate it on google earth, both shape and color blend in perfectly...
