Amazing lighting is just one of many things you are known for Huston. The Huston Corporatin Bldg. is just one example. 

The Aquilina BAT, IMO, could use more lighting or something to liven it up just a bit. But if you upload it as is, I woud be one

of the first to dl it ... know that!

I may just halt everything I'm doing right now to build a few Vancouver-reminescent residentials. Constructing a small scale 2186 CE version of Vancouver (from ME3), with towers that look like this:

ZOOM 4. If you like what you see, unfortunately, don't count on me uploading them cause they're still quite sketchy in detail, so I'm not even sure if it's worth uploading. I honestly think they're looking good, but chances are there's gonna be a need for critique, which I'm not looking for right as of now for these sets since they're one-off's I'm using on a Mass Effect: The Milky Way episode; so I'm not even posting this on the right project page

Yeah, there's a real lack of them. I thought some of Vancouver's building style's would be easy to replicate, and with me making an update that references Vancouver in 2186, I though why not Glad you like them though.

 

Quick update. Just made another one...hot off the oven:

 

 

PS. These are pretty damn quick to make what with them being practically puzzle pieces and legos. I just stack'em up and make new hi-rises.

I'm still contemplating on whether to upload'em, since they look okayish to go off to the STEX. We'll see after I finish them and use'em to update ME:TMW...

 

Addtionally, here's a photoshopped testing of the bldgs in SimCity 4 *trying* to blend into an ocean SimFox's content, with reddon's, on001222's and kellydale's BATs in the background.

That all depends on what buildings he is trying to replicate. There is a fair number of condominiums along the waterfront in Vancouver that are just the tower rising  from the ground with no podium. The closer you get the main part of downtown, the more buildings have podiums.

There are handfull of clone-style condos all over downtown Vancouver. I'm just replicating the style primarily, and most of them are meant to conform to this one style. The windows are just some random textures I found just to make the process quicker. These are really just quick one-offs anyway, so I'm not too concerned. If they're not good enough for the STEX yet, I'll just keep them off the table for now

If you are going work on them (which I think you should) then I'd love to see some life on the balconies...speaking from experience it's one of the funnest parts throwing different things in there...plants, chairs, tables...you can really go crazy!

 

With some work, those windows could be amazing...my advice, work on these, we are always lacking quality residential...

And of course you missed on of my favourite countries: South Georgia and the Southern Sandwhich Islands. Did you know the church in Grytviken was originally built in Norway and was shipped to the island after a storm?

 

And the roof has parts which look untextured :/
