Shouldn't the Cities of Tomorrow Expansion Pack be listed up there, either as DLC or an EP?

Thanks, it's been added.

Seriously loving this, great job making this list. Can't wait for update 10:P

To bad prices are only in dollar and the other one, not in Euro's (which is a big market to right?)

Would be fun to see sale numbers per year in this topic to. And to see the price drops per update or so.,

Euro currency has been added (happens to be the same value as £).

Any news on the next update?  So many things they need to fix with this game.

I just got the game today and it kind of looks like EA\Maxis has given up on first impression.  The game updater has a "News and Community" section with two articles from January 2013, nothing newer.  There is also scrolling news section complete with broken pictures and broken links that take you to a 404 page at SimCity.com.

The game is still updating right now and there is a "View Updates" button on the updater.  Clicking on that link take you to yet another missing page\invalid page.

At least it seems to be installing and updating the game correctly...

Anyone know what this new update did? Origin asked me to update the game. I think its 10.2 but there is no mention of it anywhere

According to the exe version it is 10.2.   Unfortunately there does not seem to be any patchnotes available for this yet, hopefully maxis will publish that soon enough.

Someone from Maxis said it was a fix for the installation process. No updates were made to the game. Bummer really.

That's probably because they're allowing our great mods to do their work for them, now...

As my grandmother says "What's good for the goose (Simcity 4) is good for the gander (Simcity 2013)!"

Obviously I added in the names of the games to illiustrate the point.

It would be great if they had an update for bigger map sizes. :)

Any leaks on the next update, or has EA/Maxis abandoned the game and handed over the core files to the modders?

    Cheers!

Though it's buggy, check out Project Orion...

Modders have already released a bunch of mods and more are coming.

Maxis is still gathering feedback on update 10 to decide what to do next.

New update appears, it seems Maxis is ready to abandon online server. Only online->offline porting is added.

Changelog Here, personally I will continue to use(reads:suffer from) the online server region until it closes, I have offline regions anyway.

I would have to agree with hyno111 on this, considering EA specifically explained they wouldn't allow porting because "we want to keep the competitive aspects of the Online game intact."

Also, as porting is one-way, meaning you can't port an offline city to the server, it's clear EA wants to slowly get cities off their servers. It's a shame, because if they would have, in a sense, made a SimCity 5 like everyone wanted, instead of an entire reboot, the game would've been wildly popular.

In either case, as I've invested hundreds of hours into SC2013, so it served its entertaining purpose. I can't complain. I just wish I didn't outgrow it so fast.

Does anyone truly know if this game will continue to be developed, or is it just a guessing game? I'm fairly new to city building and was hoping for more EP's or DLC.

EA dissolved the studio that developed it, so that's a no unfortunately.

Thanks for answering... very sad but I'll keep playing it anyway. Wish I could give EA a one-two, such a shame.
