I knew the old girl as the C-130 Hercules variant. 

I spent many an hour being shunted from "point A" to "point B" back in the old days.  The "Herc" was the every-day workhorse of the Army Airlift Command in those days -- and we felt privileged when they crammed a couple of our tanks into a "Galaxy C-5A" and we got to ride "First Class".  They've replaced ol' Herc with a newer model, now -- but -- that is the way of progress, isn't it?

This is the current downtown area of Aberdeen. A lot has been built here in recent years and the skyline has changed considerably, including the 610m high Aberdeen Spire, the tallest building in the Mexico region. The city of Aberdeen currently has 2,479,000 residents and it is growing. The agglomeration currently has over 3 million inhabitants and the metropolitan region has over 3.5 million inhabitants.

Anyone has heard about this software, or uses it ? (I posted in the SimCity builders forum, no reaction, thought it would be more visible here.) It's a free software that supports everything 3D max does, they say.

Kulturhuset, Stockholm. All about cultural stuff. Library, exhibitions, art, theater, music etc, etc. Ugly skin for the fine arts. The plaza is Sergels Torg. A plaza, mall, underground station, The place to buy drugs when in Stockholm.

Another user, sorry I don't remember who (Vortext maybe?) was working on porting BAT4MAX to Blender... It's been a few years now but as you can imagine it's not an easy task.

i created a bay in front of Aberdeen and a small group of islands. Opposite Aberdeen, 2 large cities and smaller cities and also larger forests are to be built.

Currently working on a custom international airport, which has already grown way beyond the scale of what I had originally intended. I've gotten a lot done, but I'm currently going over everything and re-lotting it to make it more detailed. So far, I've (more or less) completed the general aviation and cargo ramps. The rest of the airport still needs to grow around them but this offers a decent preview.

GenAv:

 

Cargo Ramp (clear inspiration from the TL-SCF-Heretic Modular Regional Airport). This is less done than the GenAv ramp, but there are a couple sections that look presentable:

 

Since this airport project was the whole reason I made them in the first place, here's a shot of one of my runways using the 48m-wide lots (still need to spruce it up with some rapid exit taxiways and approach lights, but you get the idea). Currently the taxiway at the bottom will provide access to two smaller runways for the GenAv ramp aircraft and regional planes. Two big 64m-wide runways and another 48m-wide runway on the other side of the terminal will handle the bulk of the big international flights:

Yo, guys --

Work continues to progress in the "IMPERIAL DOCKYARDS: CUXHAVEN" -- and no detail is too small to come to the attention of "DAP PRODUCTIONS" (Dreadnought & AP).

This is a close-up of the battlecruiser "Lutzow" tied up at a mooring point while one of her "cutters" (small boat) is "hooking on" to bring more men to secure the big hawsers.

Here, you see the old motor lighter "Ajax" temporarily moored dockside.  She will be leaving soon for the Bremerhaven dry docks with her cargo of Triple Expansion Steam engines.

(This little modeling gem -- not quite finished as a lot -- was scratch-built by @AP )

"AP" and I still have much work to do -- and though it is slow-going -- we get closer to publication of the new CJ every day!
