A few new lots were added at Sim City Force.
First, a Gum Disease Research Facility. 29.gif
00007.jpg
Download here . It gives 250 jobs, is a landmark, and has no hospital effect.
Next, Matsuya, a chain restaurant in Japan (they don't have them where I live, though).
matuya123.jpg
There are two landmark versions and a commercial growable in the LZH download, here .
Finally, the Tokyo Headquarters of Schaft Enterprises, Japan, a landmark from the Japanese comic, Patlabor .
bat0003.jpg
Get it here .
Also, the naval lots pictured at the top and bottom of this page (the subs and the supply ships) are new as of June 12th. Click the pictures to download.

I can't upload or alter them because they are not my property. A couple of the Japanese lot makers come to this site, and all of them know of it and how to upload; if they want their lots translated and uploaded they are capable of doing it themselves. If I started uploading Peg's or Grampa Al's lots with my alterations on my own initiative, I would be accused of plagiarism, theft, etc.

Some kind of a carferry - but it has a militaristic look. I (or rather Babelfish) can't make anything out of the accompanying text - maybe Armandeus can give us a clue?

You beat me to it. I just found that this morning.4.gif
A clue? You mean you don't want me to come out and tell you exactly?2.gif
It's a combination car ferry, train station, and bus stop with a capacity of 4000 sims. The design is based off the Japanese animated series, Gundam. However, other than the big 25, there are no logos, so if the Gundam part bothers you you can ignore it, I suppose.
You can download it from the page you mentioned.

Can someone not put these on our exchange?
quote>

No.   We cannot.  However, a few of the JP BATters come and post stuff sometimes.

EDIT:  IMO, they are quite good with their quality, but their styles are vastly different.  And MASHER, please do not call them japs.  They may find that offensive.33.gif

I'm still not sure how to download the harbors. I get on the site, but I can't find a download link.

Is Jap like the g and n words that are used to describe people? I never use them and if it is, it will go on my list of words I don't use. (yes, it's a mental list)

Okay, buddy, first off, you're wrong, and second, stucked is not a word I am familiar with.  What is more important than details?  Why do you think Cobb32118 is half this site's favorite BATter (I know he's my fav, at least, on this site)?  DETAILS.  What exactly does the whole robots theme have to do with the VAST MAJORITY of these lots, anyhow?  NOTHING.  NOTHING AT ALL.  Other than the occasional lot with the Gundams or whatnot (of which I have a couple, they are really masterful), none of these have any visible reference to robots or anything else, and for that I ... really don't care.  Be careful what you say, especially if it's ignorant and false.

OK!!32.gif26.gifwhat's wrong with you man?.........
1)I might be bad writting but you suck reading!!!!! the one that said japanese BATters were better than americans was nosoupforyou what i said was the japanese put more details it their creations(And cobb is my favorite BATter too he's doing things that fits everybody's tastes not only his)
2)And C'mon tell me how can a robot be usefull in real cities?.......
3)If you like them ok........
4)and if you are japanese and got offended with the jap thing i've apoligized like 2 time already and if that was not enough i'll do it again:
I'm so so so sorry for calling japs to the japanese people i didn't know that it was an offensive word DT told me it was and i checked some of my old history books and i found out why.....So again sorry.

Okay, LOL ... you blew this way out of proportion.  I noticed that the way the IdealBB misquoted your post was all screwed up and I guess I took my comments and directed them at the wrong people, but I didn't have time to fix it and was just coming back to edit my post when I saw one below it and bothered reading it ... my goodness, somebody got upset at my getting upset!  3.gif  First and foremost, I don't care about you calling anybody Japs -- many a time I have been too lazy to type out Japanese so I used that.  Somebody got offended but I explained to them that rather than being a racist term, it was now a term used by highly lazy people.  The thought of me being racist against the Japanese makes anybody who knows me burst out laughing, trust me.  1.gif

BTW ... you say robots have no usefulness in a city, basically ... I'm here to tell you that a whole ... LARGE AMOUNT of stuff on the Exchanges here have no usefulness or practicality, yet they get high ratings ... useless landmarks and nothing else with no elements of customization drive me NUTS.  I fix SO many of the lots I get to add that sort of thing, so don't even go there.  22.gif

EDIT: Sorry 'bout that.  I guess I jumped on the gun there.  43.gif

I just tried seconds ago, and it worked for me. Here's the direct link to the ferry station thingie: http://www1.megaegg.ne.jp/~tokitoko/ZEONcarferry.zip

As for the Millenium Tower, Masher, I'm sorry, but that's the only link I know of. I even Googled it and came up with nothing. Maybe a British BATter here might like to give a shot at making a new version of it. The tower is in England, right?

Smurfer2, exactly which harbors are you talking about? If you could give me a URL, I might be able to help. Did you try clicking on the pictures?

Off topic: BigRedFish, nice to see you here. I like the terrain leveling mod you refined a lot, but I had to remove it because it was very strict and I couldn't build railroads and bridges anymore. Would you mind making a mod that has settings halfway between the defaults and the settings in that first mod?

I suppose you could be positive that no-one would get offended, Equinox, if you added a period at the end of Jap. like so, when you are feeling lazy. It shows that it is an abbreviation. But anyway, let's all be nice here.9.gif

Hehe, yep, I need to click on the picture.43.gif Thanks Armandeus.

Off Topic:

Masher: The g word describes Vietnamese people and I guess it could describe asians in general.

Yeah, Japs was created by American propaganda to describe the Japanese. It's just a shortened form of Japanese.

Equinox: I know you have a real soft spot for Japan.29.gif I guess just like I have a soft spot for Britain.1.gif

Do you mean this Millennium Tower? 42.gifmi.jpg

Sometimes the links don't work if the authors Yahoo server they're on gets overloaded, but you need to go here and download the three files called mireniamu.

Its quite confusing, but you need to get all three, then open the DOS Batch file (the last file) and it uses the first two to produce a .cad archive with the files in. WinRAR cracks open this badboy. 38.gif38.gif38.gif
