Today I'll be posting an update on the last few surviving pictures from my old computer before it... "died". The city is across the river from Genoa, near the entrance to a bay. The city—creatively named—is called Ocean Bay. Here are the pictures.

And finally, this stadium was Genoa's home field, but when they built their own stadium downtown, they sold the old one to the city of Ocean Bay.

Update 9: Car theft story, continued...

Today's update is going to be a continuation of the Car theft man update from a few weeks ago.

So, after living in an apartment in downtown Highland and working at a fast food restaurant for a few months, he decided to move on.

He shook hands and thanked his friend for all the help.

He went to the parking garage and got in "his" car.

He drove south on the highway...

With the money he saved, he rented a nicer apartment.

The next day, he found a job as a construction worker.

And lastly, a random, mysterious, photoshopped picture at the end of the update. Click for full size!

Lockey: Thank you very much! The dock is just a default Maxis marina. It is in the rewards menu.

Update 10: The Average Joe #1

This update is going to be a little bit different. It will be about an average Joe of Highland. I'll be showing the commute of citizens, their jobs, and where they live!

This particular average Joe lives in Barrington, right by the forest.

On average days, he drives to work. His neighborhood is very confusing to guests.

His kids take the bus to Barrington North Elementary School.

On his way to work in downtown Highland, he drives South on the Highway. It can get very congested in Rush Hour.

In Highland, he exited onto LaSalle Street. It was named after the city's first mayor.

But once he gets to the intersection of LaSalle and Center St., he runs into traffic problems. Center Street is too narrow, and causes accidents because of the lack of a center lane.

Update 11: Center Street Expansion

Well, this is the first update on the new ST! And I really like the autosave feature. Today's update will be showing the expansion of Center Street. (And you can expect some more average Joe stories later)

Remember what Center Street looked like before?

Fortunately, traffic problems are no fun; so it was expanded! Unfortunately the construction caused many delays. It is almost completely done in this picture; the road is open.

Many new retail stores are being built, and the city is loaning money to new businesses on Center Street. Closer to downtown, new houses are being put up. They are expected to be quite expensive. (With stone walls to block traffic noise, of course)

And, finally, here is a nice view of downtown Highland. Center Street is in the top-right.

Now Mr. Average Joe can get to work and a cup of coffee without being late!

Love the experimenting with the NWM.. some good insiration for myself to try it out.

All you need in your downtown now is a big ass Royal Asgard Hotel and perhaps a convention center!
