Thank you guys, Aaron, like Francis already said it's the university club. :)

Update; modeling part is almost done, some details left. As for the actual textures - I think i will just desaturate them a little and they will be really good.

If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future? Maybe… this is the time to take a stand, to reverse the tide, so that we won't all end up in a uniform world of steel and glass boxes." - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

That's some seriously great modeling there, Seraf!

I'm interested to know how you made the bricks.

I love the details, absolutely amazing, particularly the railings, do you mind providing details of the modelling approach you followed for these?

Hello guys :) I just want to wish you all Merry Christmas, I hope you spend good time and get great gifts from Santa ;)

As for my BATing; i wanted to relase Farley Post Office for Christmas but my monitor was kind enough and broke in the begginging of november... it's old good hardware so I wanted to repair it instead of buying new one... in two days I will finally know if it can be repaired (god, it's good, after two months without computer I know how smokers feel when they are trying to quit). So, hope to come here soon with updated University Club! :D

Yes yes, I'm sorry that I didn't post here earlier but yes, I solved the problem with my monitor by buying a new one (27-inch, yay, maybe now I won't be nagging about how I always lack space when I'm drawing) :D

andisart - Thank you for your words andisart! It's always nice to hear something like that from others :)

Sorry that I'm responding to old post just now :(

    Girafe - Thank you.

art128 - Usually I make block of stone with bump map. Just as in this case ^_^

    Sgt Pepper - Thank you.

    Hazani Pratama - Thank you.

    Aaron - Thank you.

Francis - Now I think I should change colors a little... it's not the shade that I wanted. Thank you :)

harishna - Thank you, I will post screen next time but it really isn't something great. I don't think it can be even compared to level of details in Amthaak's Dakota ;) It's just simplified shape of ornament, I think it could come out rather blurry with all details, this way the main parts are clearly visible :)

    raynev1 - Thank you.

    Thanks Darknono :)

As I promised - the screen of railing:

And a riddle. Because you rather wouldn't guess what it is from game view screen ;) :

, I attached second screen with render of details:

Hint - it is in NYC :D

    Thank you guys!

Darknono - lucky you. I still haven't been in this wonderful city...<sigh>

    I exported FPO yesterday...well, kinda.

First problem is that Max ran out of memory - at 95%. After I clicked "OK" in error box it put already rendered views anyway so the BAT lacks only 2 views on zoom 1.

Is there a way to add these two views manually?

The second problem is quality of spaces with dark colors in exported BAT.

    Just look:

    gamepre.jpg

I remember that it has something to do with conversion from bmp. to fsh file - but I thought Simfox fixed that in bat4max... I'm using version 5.

If you're having a memory problem I'd be happy to export it for you since as of Monday this coming week my computer will have 32GB of memory. I would just need the max file and the bitmaps you're using for the materials. I think it would be a good test for my new computer. :)
