Looking good!

My only concern is the lack of pedestrians on areas like the main staircase. It makes the place seem rather dead.

    Thank you guys!

marsh - Well, I'm not sure if I really can do something about that. I can add people to BAT but they will be motionless all the time so I think it will look a bit unnatural.

Aaron - No, I solved it like I mentioned earlier, but I just devoted most of the time to drawing lately, so I didn't post any news :)

OK, so the first pic shows general arrangment of lit windows and entrances. Second pic shows fixed illumination of the bottom of main staircase, I think if we put street lamps in these lighter points at the landing it should look ok.

"Is it not cruel to let our city die by degrees, stripped of all her proud monuments, until there will be nothing left of all her history and beauty to inspire our children? If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future? Americans care about their past, but for short term gain they ignore it and tear down everything that matters. Maybe… this is the time to take a stand, to reverse the tide, so that we won't all end up in a uniform world of steel and glass boxes." - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Seraf hasn't posted an update in over two months, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

However, Seraf has a habit of disappearing and violently returning, so I think we can just be patient. Who knows though, really...

^^ Guess I can be called Mr. Randomappear ;)

Sorry for no updates for that long, but you know how it is ;) The Post Office is complete and exported - at least the day view. Just need to export night view but I haven't found time for that until now.

I must say that I should slow down a little with huge buildings, work with them is very slow and annoying (especially when you can't use your PC while render preview is being made). I promise I will try to finish Penn Station. But because I needed something small and easy I started University Club from corner of the 54th street and 5th ave. I should show some progress of it later.

Thank you for your commens despite my absence :)

Oh, starting to take shape...nice sight.

EDIT:oh, what are you going to do with the stone blocks? Are you going to painstackingly model all of them or will you use a texture and a bump map instead?

As a private club, i'd say it could be modded as a landmark, providing a few jobs (someone is needed to upkeep it, right?), offering a slight boost to EQ and R$$$ demand.

Forgive me for not paying attention here much lately. That looks like that will be another perfect gem from you like the Metropolitan Club.

Francis - thank you, I don't know yet if I will model all the blocks, it depends on poly count when I finish work with base modeling of the building :)

    Amthaak - Thank you :D

Aaron Graham - Thank you :D

Girafe - I set the gamma like in instruction for bat4max, why do you think it seems strange?

Sgt Pepper - Thank you, as you probably noted - I also can't pay as much attention here as I'd like to ;)

    LastTrueChamp - Thank you :)

Another two views, still making the south elevation. On the roof there will be original roof garden with covered pavilion. There also will be a moat with balustrade which provided light for basement level but was removed in 1905.
