Here's the second Half of the variations of the building. 

 

What I will need to work on the the night lights on the second half of the buildings and move around the AC units on the buildings, and I should be finished.

Great stuff! I'm not entirely sure about the "striped" roof texture on the building furthest to the left on your screenshot. Maybe the effect stands out a tad too much, but in any case not enough to keep me from using the building!

The fact that you go through and make each of those variations unique (different night lights, ac units, etc) really stands out to me.  The little things always add up - once again, great work on this set!

To be honest I've had my doubts about roof material No5 and No7 but seeing them now in game, I'm confident it was the right choice. Great instinct Aaron. I love them.

Well done!  Were you thinking of doing the 2x2 as a standalone, or one side W2W?  That might be interesting just to break things up a bit.

SimCoug- I was talking about should I make a 2x2, there will be two apartments on the same lot. It's just like the 1x2 lot just put two together. What do you think?

I don't see how that would be any different than the 1x2s when zoned side by side. I suppose if you want to have a few different zone footprints it would work. In that case why not 3x2 and 4x2 also?

SimCoug has a point. The only good I can think of having a 2x2 lot would be that you 'd have more beauty in smaller space or if you want to have many of these in a row instead of waiting for many 1x2s to grow properly the 2x2s get the job done right. A 2x2 version wouldn't be any bad at all but I can live without it, so it's up to you. (Hope I make sense)

SimCoug & AlexandrosB13- I did not want the building to be three tile deep because it will not look right because of the basement area, plus I'm not using any prop fences, there modeled. sense it's getting to late to to change things, it will one be only 1x2. Your right 2x2 sill not make any difference from 1x2.

Here’s the 32-48 30th Street, these apartments are Wall to Wall (W2W) buildings and is a New York City tile set. This apartment is built in Queens, New York City around 1928. Architect is unknown. There are eight bats/ Building models, each one have different brick color. Each of the models has two wealth types, R$$ and R$$$. 32-48 30th Street is a wonderful mid density apartment for your Sims. Enjoy the upload!!



Please Download Maxis Nite or Dark nite, if you download both please install the nite verion you use for your cities at night. If you install both and using the default path settings that's appled in the installer the installed model file will replace the model file that's in the plugins folder.

Another masterpiece  I am really pumped up to see any progress one those straight  w2w (non corner) beautiful buildings you were showing us at the previous page. All these have a different high-wealth style and they are not as tall as most apartments, making them look even better and special

I posted this in your file comments, but thank you infinitely for providing good W2W R$ buildings.  Most of the W2W R$ look dilapidated and disgusting, which has not been generally my experience with exploring real-life R$ neighborhoods in the two great W2W American cities (NYC and San Francisco).  Not every R$ is a "slum/ghetto/crack den", lots of them are artist enclaves or peaceful immigrant neighborhoods.  So it drives me crazy when I see gross buildings pop-up everywhere.

These will go a LONNNNG way in revitalizing visually my R$ neighborhoods.  I cannot be more excited to start demolishing and zoning!!  I don't think I've been this excited about an upload in a long time, these were sorely needed...and if there are more R$/R$$ W2W's to come along these sizes/lines/style, I will literally lose it.  The more variety we have in three/four story W2W buildings, the better!

jwsteele- Thank you so much for the kind words and your right, I do not like it when some batters portray those types of buildings as ghetto low income buildings. Some batters model them and make them so dirty they do not look right, SimGoober is a great example of this kind of work, his buildings are so dirty and do not looks right, but then again the modeling is not thing like New York and the texture need work, I'm also not the only one that thinks this SimFox too. I would say thats why I wanted to make New York apartment buildings, but then again Don Miguel and Marcszar are the batters I look up to. I made my apartments so that R$$ can live in building like this too.

Dover House

 

Okay back to one of the models I have started last month, this building is getting close to being finished. Things I will need to work on is the add more objects to the terraces, add lamps to the terraces, add the post for the rails on the upper floors, texturing the building, add ground floor stairs, and add the little fence that's around the plants.
