It took me a while to do the detailings on the tops of the parapet, but I'm finished and I'm happy what I see.

Still a beautiful building, but isn't it very similar to many of your other buildings? I know that's what New York and its suburbs are, but Upper west side has some unique buildings. Couldn't you try to make something like 115 Central Park West, a.k.a The Majestic?

Me too! This is really coming along nicely - it will be a great addition to the Art Deco theme (especially since there are not a whole lot of residential art deco BATs).

Here's the first update on the variations, I will need to work on the night glass, ac unit placement and the roof textures and the building will be complete and ready for testing and uploading to STEX.

As you look at the image where the building rear is showing I am experimenting the wall texture, this shall be a new Aaron style of wall texturing.

Wonderful variations! I think the first version is my favourite. Might be because the difference between most of the wall and those "highlights" is big enough to be clearly noticeable, yet subtle enough not to spoil a coherent look.

 

As for your new technique: What is it supposed to represent? Brick that has been pasinted/plastered over a  while ago, but now the paint/plaster begins to come off?
