I painted with watercolours once, not with oil. I long since lost the painting, making the picture of a dragon I painted in elementary school the last remaining painting I have.

This Asian American's got fascination with Europe, but that depends on if I can get it shipped at reasonable cost and within a reasonable timeframe, and it also depends on what we're talking about and whether or not it lives up to expectations. (What am I supposed to do with muscles or rockets?)

That also depends on whether engineering refers to manufacturing or infrastructure; if it's a bridge versus, say, a car...

Have you been to Afro-Eurasia, sometimes called the World Island?

No, I've stuck around the Atlantic

Have you ever seen a whale?

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

No travel plans as of right now, but maybe something will come up.

Do you prefer to travel, or would you rather stay home?

There's two things I don't like about travelling: 1. Tourist are can be very annoying and unlikeable (and I don't like being considered a tourist), and 2. I hate the feeling to froce yourself to go wherever you can to spend all the time you have exploring destination. This can ruin everything when you don't have the time to enjoy your holiday because you want to make sure you don't miss anything...

So, turn off down for what?

EDIT: Failed here...

I'm a little confused by the question so I'll say this;

Turn Off the Highway for Ice Cream. Turn Off unused Electronics to save energy, even if it doesn't seem like it would do much. Selfishness is a Turn Off for me. I too am turned off by some tourists, but I also have been a tourist and I try to act toward others as I would like them to act towards me.

If you like Ice Cream do you prefer it served in a bowl, a cone, or in a waffle sandwich?    (ha guess what I want to eat today lol)

@ Stitch, yes I meant seeing a whale in real life. They can be quite a sight as they are bigger than most imagine and are very smooth in motion considering how big they are.

Mint Chocolate Chip.

The favorite ice cream shop will always nostalgically be Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour Restaurant, which had Oahu locations at Ala Moana and later Pearlridge.  Farrell's offered ice cream dishes in a family restaurant setting charmingly themed after the Old-Timey 1890s, and became a 1970s institution of American childhood as the mecca of kids' birthday parties.  We often went to the parlour at Ala Moana, and the "Fudge-Ana" dish was our Holy Grail of Gluttony.  Sadly, later theme changes by outside corporate consultants to change the focus away from kid-friendly ice cream towards lunch-hour fast food eventually killed the once wildly popular brand.  However, I think a number of franchise parlours have been resurrected, including those at Ala Moana and Pearlridge.

Napoleon's Ziggy Piggy ice cream scene in the movie "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" is a direct cultural homage to Farrell's Ice Cream.

Did you ever have an ice cream birthday party at Farrell's?

No, I have not.

Did you enjoy the first day of summer (assuming you are in the Northern Hemisphere)

Today was the first day it felt like summer, but I was stuck in a frozen office.

Do you think humans will ever travel beyond Mars?

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

I don't think so. There would be no practical reason for us to do so, unless we somehow found a way to make interstellar travel possible. Mars is the closest and most viable planet for us to live on in the Solar System, and that's only if we have to.

What do you think is more important for us as humans: conserving resources and controlling growth so that Earth will remain habitable for as long as possible, or preparing for the colonization of other planets for people in the future?

I think both are important.  My vision of the future is to terraform Mars (and Venus if possible) to use for Human habitation.  The Earth would have a minimal human presence and be used to maintain biodiversity.  The rest of the solar system would be used for resources.

Do you think the human race will go extinct unless we can colonize other planets.

Yes, unless there is a specific mass extinction event. I know that sounds backward but without writing out an essay I'll say this, a small limited population will have a chance to continue and potentially evolve/develop again as we did in the past, depending on what causes the mass extinction. Others require a population off planet to continue and IMO Humans would not do well locked up in say a space station and would require some terra firma.

How long do you think Humans could survive in a space station?

Well I guess it would depend on a lot of factors - the size of the station, the sustainability, the amount of resources, the number of people... The concept sort of reminds me of the Axiom from WALL-E. I'm not sure, but I'm certain the answer would not be forever.

If you were given the opportunity to be a part of the first Mars colonization mission, but you knew you could never return to Earth, would you do it?

I love this planet enough to never leave! I may cross it's sky but I will never trade it for anything else.

Would you like to see the return of supersonic airline travel?

Yes, a couple of them. All scientists, no singers or actors.

What's your favorite cartoon show?

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

"Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible." - Frank Zappa

"The wisest men follow their own direction." - Euripides

If you think Japanese stuff is slowly overtaking me, I would like to reiterate that I don't like how the Japanese portray animation aside from a few studios and Ghibli. That being said, my number 1 cartoon show is still Avatar: The Last Airbender. :P

what would you do if you have an extra $5,000 (with more to come later) (extra means you had already bought your necessities)

Vacation somewhere in Southern Europe.

I really like Avatar: The Last Airbender, it was tough to get some of my friends to watch it as they felt they were too old for a cartoon on Nickalodiodilodidion, fools.

What was the last thing you had a hard time of convincing others that it was a good thing.

I actually have none... as I nearly don't watch movies or TV in general.

Do you like Manga? If yes: which ones?

I love Dragons!

Uh. Too late usually. Around 7.30 when I have to get up 'early', and 9 (or later...) when I don't need to go anywhere. I'm more of an 'evening person'.

Around what time do you usually go to bed?

11 PM but sometimes it can go as early as 1 AM when I have nothing to do the following day.

What do you usually eat for breakfast?
