Is it just me but is the SC4 CJ forum becoming quieter?

Well, the end of the semester is coming up, there are finals, papers to write, there's holiday shopping and parties to attend, people are busy.  It'll be busier once winter break finally hits at the end of this week/next week.

Maybe I should blast out a few updates...it's the most wonderful time of the year for clearing out the competition . Besides, we kind of like this place when it's quiet - it gives us space to revisit and catch up on various (and sometimes older!) threads. Just yesterday I stumbled on

When people get busy, ST gets less busy, so to speak; this place will no doubt be humming after New Year's. I suspect BTT would be consistently in the top five if it were ranked along with the rest of us.

Yeah, I almost skipped doing an update this week just because everything is feeling so overwhelming at my school with a mess of a Christmas party coming up and trying to prepare a slew of materials for my classes.

 

I also discovered fans that have restored Star Wars to its original theatrical release but at high quality and another who re-edited it to make it even better and is doing a massive overhaul of Empire Strikes Back currently.

Yes, it's that time of year again, time to reflect on a year's worth of Top Tens. And the surprise today is that the CJ section didn't quite reach 100 CJs in the tope ten +10 for the year, missing by a mere 4 CJs.

It is great to see the countdown begin. But I am saddened to see that we can't get 100 active CJs for the year. It has concerned me for a while that we have less and less activity here. I hope a great revival will hit the forum in 2015!

If I understand correctly the pictures are from no.1 entries each week on BTT's +10. Looking at this picture mosaic and I recognise at least thirty of my own pictures, and the LEGO one is impossible to miss.

I wish I was good enough to be number one, but the people who have achieved it have really put in a lot of effort and their journals shine every time they post.  I'll be interested to see where I end up, as I started up pretty late in the year.
