I have a nice collection of streams and rivers here:

These here are from the Capital Province of Timberland, namely from the Sierra de las Cascadas Forest Preserve:

This one here is from a neighboring settlement: Monte Colmillo--it's my tallest waterfall yet:

MonteColmillo03-CanRugiente.jpg

And these are my most recent creations: in the new region of Madagascal-Emeraldian Beta (I'm using a sligthly modified Madagascar map with the terrain mods I'll be using for my planned CJ, which will come by summer):

This is Salto Sabroso in the outskirts of the coastal town Arena Serena:

These ones here are in the outskirts of Río Cristal. The single fall is Cascada La Gruta, the two smaller ones are the "Chorreritas":

Hi, fantastic work here guys!

Here is my first attempt at a creek. It's Ontaw Run in a new suburban community I'm working on:

Ontaw_Creek.jpg

There are some things I just can't seem to get right, but I've decided to leave alone. For now...

I have a lot to learn about MMP's and SC4 in general, but with the info on this forum I'm having fun learning. Thanks for the inspiration!

Small whitewater near one of my farms... (click for full size)

* And btw: PEGs ponds and streams are not outdated at all... ;-)

Wow. That is absolutely incredible. Such patience you must have, and an eye for detail - how on earth do you know where to begin!?

Just a kick of this topic to inspire the nature-enthousiast :)

After a day struggling with mods i came out with this:

Riverview-Mar_zps53e82654.jpg

For a bit grunge along the riversides (gravel/pebbles) is used the MMP  from OMCo Filling Gravel.

These look really well made, however they could look infinitely better with a carefully chosen terrain and tree mod, as well as some community-made buildings :)

Spoderman, pls.

Thank You for sharing Lumeria, but you might want to check out this thread first so you can edit your post so we can see your pictures. They need to be .jpg not .png

INFO: How to Post Pictures on Simtropolis: https://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/46701-info-how-to-post-pictures-on-simtropolis/

Looking forward to seeing your work.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Thank you, Phil, I do appreciate that. I assumed DropBox photos would work, but alas they did not so I had to switch to PhotoBucket and it worked like a charm! But I will especially remember to convert from .png (default in-game) to .jpg in the future. Not a problem with a little free program IfranView ;)

Great stuff, I'm still not able to get really good results with RFR plopwater or MMPs, just don't have the patience, but you've done a fine job.

It might be helpful to know, you can use the DBE in this situation, usually it's not necessary to offset the MMP flora as props in such cases. although going this way does make it easier to get the river/creek exactly where you want it and not where the bridge allows.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.
