Yea at my local store they don’t sell any... my local store also don’t have a Starbucks this is a town of over 8000 people no Coffee shops yet around town 30 minutes aways has a Starbucks inside the store and has a Dunkin outside the store. Kroger does something that make me say why? Lol

It’s because of 84.51 data.   My job is that I am I’ve the Starbucks in my division. 44 in 5 states.  They  want a ROI in 5 years not 10 so it’s hard to get a new kiosk.

We have tons of historic and modern buildings but only a few futuristic ones. So here is my request suggestion. How about more futuristic buildings, especially grow-able RCI ones? Anno 2070, Anno 2205 and SimCity 2013: Cities of Tomorrow have plenty of buildings to bring in SimCity 4. Here are some examples...

BAT Requests:

Buildings from the past that were located in Atlanta, GA, would make for interesting challenges

1) the Atlanta Terminal Station razed in 1972

2) Rich's Downtown  - would consist of 4 pieces 2 main buildings connected by a 4-story Crystal Bridge over Forsyth Street (see Wiki) and the parking garage.

3) The Omni Sports arena

There are more, but that is an initial request. *:idea:Atlanta_Terminal_Station_(c._1949).jpg

Also this building.  A mid-rise (17 floors) that would fit in most cities.  The H&R Block HQ in Kansas City, Missouri.  Not a lot from KC in SC4.

I think SC4 needs some new Restaurants like,

Jack in the Box, Jacks “Not jack in the box the Jacks Restaurant in the south”, Taco Johns, Del Taco, Modern McDonald’s Black/Red/woodern, Taco Bell and KFC, Older Style Long Johns Slivers / A&W, Rax Roast Beef, Ponderosa , Ryan’s, Dicks Last Resort

some Hotels like

modern Best Western, Hard Rock Hotel/Casino

and Stores Like Dollar General Market, IGA, Save a Lot, Ross Dress For Less Plaza, Raphls, Food 4 Less, Ruler Foods, and more.

I know we have many already but many need updated.

We've got a JackBox, Del Taco, at least 5(maybe more) MickeyD's, a couple of Taco Bells, 3 KFCs, a Best Western, a Hard Rock, a Dollar General and a Save a Lot. Google, or use site search...if you dare!

Good evening, or good night/morning everyone ! I have a simple yet kinda unspecific request. I would like to see more "Suburban" office towers. Similar to ones you see in Irvine, California or any city for that matter. They are very common in the United States. Every major city has a suburb that has all these  office buildings plopped all around. I can post some pictures if needed for examples. :) Thank you

Matt’s is good but it don’t fit into every city and town only for very modern areas of towns. These will fit in almost every area.

You do realize that McDonald's are the most generic architecture there is. The company employs a set construction crew that goes around the world building the same 2 or 3 styles and floor plans. The McD in Ithaca is probably the same McD in Yermo. I built a couple of Chilis in 2 different cities and they were exactly alike. Even down to the lumber measurements.

While I'm in here- CAVES!

We need caves!

Hehehe, as I'm known for letting things snowball, a request has come up.  I hate to be the person that "begs" for someone else to do work for them, but........ when I "decided" to do a recreation of my hometown of Albuquerque (after having wound up hand making a map of the region as the map I found wasn't to my satisfaction *;) )  a few landmarks came to mind.  So without further ado:

Albuquerque Landmarks:  The Alvarado (preferably the original), Albuquerque Plaza, Winrock Mall, and Bank of the West Tower

The Alvarado

1920px-Alvarado_Hotel_and_Campus_1902_19

Albuquerque Plaza

Albuquerque_Plaza_Albuquerque.jpg

The Bank of the West Tower

450px-Bank_of_the_West_Tower_Albuquerque

Winrock Mall

winrock02.jpg

Descriptions:

Alvarado train station was Albuquerque's first, finished in 1902, and mostly demolished in 1970.  A fire finished the job in the early 1990s.

Albuquerque Plaza have been the city's tallest buildings since their completion in 1990 (I was able to swim there on a few occasions one summer not long after it was finished)

The Bank of the West Tower is an icon of east Central, and was the tallest building in the sate for a time.

Winrock mall was one of the first "modern" malls.

These would benefit the community as the landmarks they are, never mind the historical significance of both the Alvarado and Winrock.   Of course, just because I've requested these doesn't mean I expect people to jump right to it, however it would be fun to add these to the recreation.... :)

Nice stuff suggested here. And I have to suggest something too - while regretting that I have absolutely no batting skills ...

So I think Cartier in New Bond Street (London) would be a nice addition - especially, if it could be done as a seasonal BAT (yes, I know that Christmas is over but I love it):

5e273987230b4_Cartier-BondSt.jpg.90943b489d43d1ae538e1c7a0a217876.jpg

Or what about the Tiffany's store in Ginza (really love Matt's creations of this area):

5e2739a781e09_Tiffany-Ginza.jpg.d3fae8d186289d0eb9d8c20d99b6c0a4.jpg

As a Berlin resident I, of course, feel there could be a bit more from my city. So I'd like to suggest two modern buildings that have been constructed after the fall of the wall. First, Galeries Lafayette in Friedrichstrasse, a department store created by architect Jean Nouvel. It covers half a block and is one of the most important addresses to restore the street as shopping mile (although this was not too successful ...):

5e2739ccd126b_GaleriesLafayette-Berlin.jpg.db0ef078f82ad1173f21d3b3de7b5393.jpg

And I'd like to suggest a modern residential building that thankfully does not citate old architectural elements (as a lot of them do). It is located in Prenzlauer Berg at Danziger Strasse/Prenzlauer Allee and is one of the better examples of new housing in Berlin:

5e2739ca3dd57_DanzigerStr-Berlin.jpg.68ce70aac12fb315f6c19dfa8dc16ffb.jpg

Maybe some of the batters would be interested in one or the other (of course I could make more pics of the Berlin buildings, if needed). And if not, I am still thankful for what they still come up with every week!

A couple ideas for BATs:
The Gary Comer Youth Center in Southside Chicago, which provides opportunities for inner-city youth from Grade 5 onwards. This is, I believe, a John Ronan Architects design, built in 2006. Adding another youth center to the small number of youth centers that we have I feel would be good for the game.
5e31970a3cea6_garycomeryouthcenter.png.9c24c44d665cba0150f9715f89f42458.png

Another John Ronan design is the recently-built Independence Library in Chicago. Those bright polygons! This building is not only a library but also mixed-use housing, affordable for lower-income families. Ronan's stuff I've always found to be beacons of areas that are under-served, and the idea of using modern architecture to serve those in lower income levels to see and live in is a really interesting one for me. I mean, it would be easier for something like cities skylines where one can mod the lower floor as educational and then use the move it tool to put the residential on top of it, but it being just a library for SC4 would definitely stand out among our selection of libraries that we have.

I'm looking at doing a Frisch's Big Boy in KY/OH/TN in the future actually. Maybe a reskin as a Bob's and the other dozens of Big Boy franchisees could be interesting too since they all have a ton of shared architecture. But the statue is the hardest part for me. It's on my list though. I can't model people for the life of me and am looking to find a compatible model to change the UVW map out.

Rosenbauer_International_AG_Headquarters.jpg.af83f34ab9d63ccca6c0ff10cf43434b.jpg

This office building at the Rosenbauer Fire Trucks HQ in Leonding, Austria, is part of a massive manufacturing complex for fire equipment in real life, but I think it would look really cool as a singular office building for downtown areas. Maybe on the first floor it could be a flagship store for public safety equipment.
