Target%20Country.jpg

I know HBS Target Supercenter and an American style Target already exist on the stex, so this request probably won't happen.

But I was wondering whether other people think it would be worthwhile creating a small Target (Country) which can be found all over regional Australia.

These stores can be found in towns and cities with a population between 5,000 - 10,000 +

This size Target store would better suit small towns in SimCity compared with what's available on STEX.

Thanks for your time.

I'm on a phone at the moment so I can't make a full post with images. I'll do that later. But I'd really appreciate it if someone were to make either (though ideally both) the New York public library or New York's St Patrick cathedral. The reason for this is because they are both very nice looking buildings and are both essential for anyone making a new York City. The library is well known and like the cathedral is beautiful and a landmark. The cathedral is just a magnificent example of architecture and looks fantastic, plus we can never have too many cathedrals. ;)
Oh and if either of those two exist already let me know with a link to where I can get them from.

Hi guys!  Was wondering if theres any colorado sims on here that would be kind enough to upload some buildings in denver.  The one republic is the only building in Denver thats on the stex/lex.  Surprising since Denver has an awesome skyline with another skyscraper proposed.  Take a look and see what you think. :) p.s. (the qwest building and wells fargo building would look nice in our cities.  Thanks! A nice American NFL football stadium would also be nice :P

Hello,

I am trying to create an outdoor sportsman's paradise in one of my regions (trout fishing, hiking, rafting, skiing, etc.)

It would be wonderful if someone could take the time to put together the following items to (i dont know how to do it or else i would take it on as a new project):

1) white water raft(s) to plop in creek

2) fly shop - similar to madhatter106's Captain Sids Bait and Tackle?

3) plopable fly fisherman - something similar to PEGs plopable skiers or the snowboarders that move.  It would be amazing if you could get a guy fly casting with movement.  PEG said he used the in-game skateboarders from the skate park to create the snowboarders so i'm not even sure if something this complicated is possible....

I use various things to create streams so if having a transparent base would be ideal so they blend in to the background.

Ive been looking around the STEX for years now for these things and they never seem to come up.

Maybe in the near future, someone will get bored and fulfill my wishes : )

Thanks,

p.s. i second the request before mine.  The Wells Fargo bldg is pretty iconic and would be a nice addition to the STEX.  Also, how about the CO state capitol bldg with the gold dome??

Whilst I too would like to see Yorkminster or Westminster, it's worth noting that you didn't give a reason why we should, as is the rules for this thread. Also, Westminster is the area, that's the Houses of Parliament with Big Ben, (the latter of which we already have). Though the HoP would be awesome, if not huge and very time consuming.

Bonobo, the Houses of Parliament are on the site of an old royal palace called the Palace of Westminster, and the HoP are still referred to as that.

Fair enough. I know them as the Houses of Parliament, in Westminster, with Westminster being the area.

I was confused too as I thought SS3K meant Westminster Abbey (that dates from the time of old palace), that would be sweet to have in the game too :)

Westminster Abbey was in SC3000, why is it not in SC4? But yeah that'd be awesome as well.

Ploppable Maxis Bridges

First off, I don't even know if this is possible at all, or if I'm even asking this in the right thread, so let me apologise in advance if this doesn't belong here. I don't think there is need for a picture because I'm not requesting a real-life building. It would be great if anyone was able to make the standard Maxis bridges into ploppable overhanging lots to be combined with the NAM elevated road/avenue. This would make building bridges over ploppable water or on land all the much easier without the need for terraforming or the rain mod. I got the idea from this awesome BAT by smf_16:  but I think the actual Maxis bridges would look even better. Another useful feature of such ploppable bridges would be that the kind of traffic it carries is not dependant on the type of bridge. smf_16's BAT is most suited for use with elevated avenue, but you could also lay two elevated train tracks over there, or RWH.

Please let me know if this is actually possible, if so, it would be greatly appreciated by me, and I'm sure it will also be appreciated by a lot of other players too!

Comerica Tower, Dallas, TX.

Comerica Bank Tower (formerly Momentum Place, Bank One Center and Chase Center) is a 60-story postmodern skyscraper located at 1717 Main Street in the Main Street District in downtown Dallas, Texas . Standing at a structural height of 787 feet (240 m), it is the third tallest skyscraper in the city of Dallas. (If the antennas and spires of Renaissance Tower were excluded, Comerica Bank Tower would be the second tallest.) It is also the sixth tallest building in Texas and the 49th tallest building in the United States. The building was designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee and was completed in 1987. The structure has 1,500,000 square feet (100,000 m2) of office space.

To be fair, that version is not very good.

I'd LOVE to see many of the Dallas buildings get done.  There are at least 5-6 that would really be good.  Especially the new Omni hotel.

Could someone do some diagonal pieces for the simgoober remastered canals by callgrafax?.

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community:

These are a beautiful and useful canal set, however it's usefulness would be improved for the community if it also had diagonal pieces available as well.

After using these myself recently I'd have to agree with that reason, these would be a benefit.

Does anybody know whether these two buildings exist, and if not, could be made.

- tokyo metropolitan government building (I have seen a version floating around but it isnt the "best quality")

- shinjuku park tower (a striking building that featured in SC3K)

I think that at this point, there is a Cathedral that needs to be redone. St Pauls Cathedral in London.

If I have to be honest, there is one on the STEX, but it is out of proportions, and doesnt represent the real one. We need more history in our cities, and cathedrals are one way to go. I also want to second the Houses of Parliament request. There is nothing available that even looks like it, and the big ben version of Maxis is really bad.

Now, we have lots of european buildings, but we still lack the history. Lets get these 2!!! Im sure everybody will find a home in there cities for them as they fit in every city, an give the game a little history.

I see a lack in any historical buildings from Asia. I don't see the Forbidden City, the Lal Qila, the Kaaba, Bagan temple complex, the temple at Somnath, etc. It would be nice if we got asian buildings with historical or cultural significance.

Can somebody make the laundry from breaking bad http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130511174239/breakingbad/images/c/ca/Lavander%C3%ADa.png that produces no pollution, employs a few industrial ht people, and generates money, and freight traffic?  It also should have high power and water requirements, and has a negative park effect on residential.

Also, the Los Pollos Hermanos http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130726033640/breakingbad/images/6/67/Los_Pollos_Hermanos.png
