 Oh, and ignore the "sarcastic" comment, apparently I misunderstood you. I've been through some bad situations this week, and I'm probably still too tense now and tend to overreact. I should probably take a day or two off.

Dear T-Wrecks, please don't apology, I am quite proud of what I did with the lot, because I came from 9 dependencies to only 3. I just have a contretemps for the bat without  chineese characters and I have to re export it (all together it will be 5 exports, 15 hours per export, i am quite tired..!) but I really hope I can upload everything tomorow night. I cross my fingers..!

Well, you know that it is quite emotional when you see growing for the first time your Bat... 

It's a CS$$$ 3x6 (in order to make it growing easier in the game, and it did!), I made a left corner lot for growing versions (the street have to make a L), capacity satisfied 690. Here some in game pics of the 2 growing versions (one with chineese characters and one without)

Oh yeah,Pierre, quite a lot of emotions when seeing his BATs growing for the first time ! Anyway, good job with the LOT and with the growable version. I think CS$$$ is the good choice for that BAT.. Maybe why not a CAM version ?

As for the next bat, I would really like to see the Peninsula being done! But, of course, it's up to you to choose which one you like best

Hey Coach! Thanks a lot for the pics. Of course they are very helpful, because very detailed. It will not surprise you that the difficulty is in the details, and this bdg is full of details, but "nothing resists to the work" ...!

BTW, how can I have a rendering with better definition. Do I have to change something in the render setup or not, (as maybe changing something will perturb the LTBL good functioning) . I am using max 2008!

It's looking nice so far, I'm glad to see you doing a historical building.

To increase the quality, you can go into the render dialogue window (in the upper right hand corner of the screen, it's the icon of a tea pot and a pop up window). In the "Common" tab, there is an area for sampling quality. If you increase the max number, it will allow mental ray to take more samples from a pixel when it decides it's necessary. The min number is how few samples per pixel it's allowed to take (for the fractions, 1/4 means that at a minimum, there can be one sample for every 4 pixels).

You could increase the numbers to make sharper renders, but it will take a lot longer to render them. Likewise, if you lower the settings, it will be faster, which might be good for doing previews. You can increase them again before your final render.

I don't think it's worthwhile to increase the sampling quality though. The problem is that the render is too small to show all of the details. A pixel is only a pixel, and a few pixels can only look like so much. Also, if you compare your BAT after it's been exported with preview renders from max, you'll notice that there's really heavy file compression on the .FSH files, and that defeats the purpose of having really sharp renders.

Actually those settings Jason refers to - Sampling - are not to make image sharper, but to make antialiasing (eg smoothness) to work better, to take more information in consideration before dropping something off the final image.

So this will not make image sharper, but could help in case some very fine details are disappearing or diagonal be smoother (less jagged). In BAT practical terms it is useful to prevent lattice colored very similar to the background (say glass) from melting away. But it has to be said that those numbers work in conjunction with the Spatial Contrast setting. Often it is more efficient to lower those rather then increase Sampling cause it may be so that there will be "free" samples left at the default spacial contrast. All in all this is the settings that may increase render time dramatically to many, many times of original LtbL settings and in vast majority of cases there will not be any visually beneficial result. I've specially set those in LtbL to be a "golden mean". So I would recommend to leave them alone.

As for visibility of details you have to remember the resolution of BAT. At Zoom 5 1 pixel is equal to 20 (!) cm at vertical and 15 at horizontal. This means that (depending on the quality of you monitor to some extend) the smallest thing that could be possibly seen is 1/3 of a pixel. and here AA settings (sampling spatial contrast etc) may be instrumental (in horizontal).

BTW new version of Bat4Max is about to be released. It will offer compatibility to Max 2009&2010 as well as better White balance, gammaCorrection applied to HDR output (better for very very dark spots) and FINALLY it will do away with silly 256x256 perspective renders!
