Where do you really see the detail?

The bat look really great. I am very curious to see how you will bat the outside. I didnt mean this bat is not good by detail side, it is just it is in a very early phase to have some. It is the basic shape yet.. so i dont really see what details you are talking about... I cant wait to see the outdoor stuff i think it will be really great.

You should have told me that this Grand Kamelia is located in Bulgaria, Sunny Beach where I've spent one summer (actually in the old city of Nesebar, not in that tacky resort village). Anyhow, now that I've located it, I've found satellite image of it on Bing. and here it is:

@Vlasky: It's funny but I looked on Google Maps and Wikimapia maybe a week ago and the pictures of this place are not updated.

The real Grand Kamelia is really horrific and I wan't reproduce these horrible yellow part around the balconies. Similarly, the top floor on the roof is completely different from the plans that I had when I started the BAT. Sorry but I haven't the courage to modify everything.

Anyway, thank you for your research my friend.

I've just tried a new texture on the Montevideo's roof, seems better than the previous one.

I gaze into my crystal ball, and I see... a building family! And what a nice one. You really have some courage for colours. I think there are not many purple buildings as of yet, but I like it a lot.

Are you planning to introduce some more variation from model to model, e.g. differently positioned chairs and tables or maybe some subtle differences in terms of smudges on the roof texture?

Yes please! You don't have to make a new bitmap (I lied, maybe make one extra), instead just do little hue or value shifts in the material's output. You want them to stay unified since these would obviously be made with the same materials around the same time IRL, but just different enough to not look identical.

Case in point:

@TWrecks: Really good to see you here my old friend. And thank you for loving my choice of colors, it still deserves some adjustments.

I will do a lot of variation in textures, furniture, and I'm making all kinds of plants and small foliage to put on the balconies. As you can see, it progresses very slowly.
