These are some nice simple little apartments... the kind we definitely need more of because they get so much use in game! I like them. Just eyeballing them, perhaps a 1x2 lot would be appropriate as well so that they can also be used in denser settings.

spa - thank's to stop here and for your nice comment. The model does not hold on one 1x2 lot, it is too big. 34.gif

Todd - yes, i also use it.

-Finally I have the time to show you all the lots TWrecks realized.

Obviously, with the extensive use of families, the lots will be every time different. 4.gif

TWrecks, I opened the lots with SC4Tool and he indicates as dependency, BSC Mega Props - CP Vol01.dat and BSC Textures Vol 01.dat as you mentioned. But also BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01.dat, no idea for this one?

These are really nice lots! I came up with something though - why not replace the Maxis hedge on the 2x2 lots with hedges from SG's mega prop pack vol 1? I think they look much better 2.gif

Well, I scanned all the lots visually once again, and I didn't see a single SimGoober prop. Did SC4Tool report that for all the lots, or just for one or two? Did you take the screenshots with SG's Mega Props in your plugins folder or without? Anyway, I think mentioning SG's props as an optional dependency should be safe, as I don't see anything that's missing. Neither do I have the impression that there are empty spaces that look like something is wrong. I might have used a tiny SimGoober prop somewhere on one of the first lots and later forgotten about it, I guess. Anyway, it doesn't look critical to me.

@ io_bg: Yeah, these are the first lots I made... Another option would be to use Cycledogg's hedges... they are used anyway, and they don't stay brown as depicted on some of the lots... wait for a season change, and they become green and look really nice. Anyway, I must confess that I have really come to like CP's shaded props. 2.gif

If you put SimGoober's prop pack (and the rest of the depencencies) into your plugins folder, start SC4Tool and scan the lots with the analyser/importer one by one, you should be able to see if a SimGoober prop has been used on one of them by checking the prop list on the "dependencies" tab. As I mentioned at SC4D, some of the lots have a tree prop placed on the path, this is probably a result of an off-centered prop, which "shifts" a bit when rotating the view. That one should be removed or relocated, but otherwise, the lots look great. 4.gif

Awesome! Like every single bit of these lots. The paved area is the one I like, and the parking spaces have the textures that all the stuff I download have. I'll probably have to change the trees to oak/maple but it will be worth it!

Fantastic work once again! Very eye pleasing!

Gn_Leugim & De Ja Vu - Thanks guys!

TWrecks & Andreas Roth - Thank you for your support. I examined the lots and found the dependency, it's not Props but OverlayTextures. This series:

    pearloverlaytexturesbug.jpg

    The list is:

    0x35004200

    0x35004300

    0x35004400

    0x35014100

    0x35014200

    0x35014300

    0x35024200

    0x35034100

    0x35034200

    0x35034300

    0x35054100

    0x35054300

    0x61BE8100

More strange, if I put the BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01.dat out of the plugin folder and load the city where I have plopped the Lots wit extra cheats dll, everything is in order and the OverlayTextures mentioned appears on the lots. But if I Plop new one, the Overlay are missing. 42.gif

I think of taking out there by changing the hedges on the 2x2 lots with the one included in the BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01.dat as request io_bg. So I would have three dependency, it's not the death!

Oh, and the tree prop placed on the path is already fixed. thanks for the look.

Ok, so I'm not crazy after all... textures in a prop pack, eh? I thought these had been consolidated in the BSC Textures Mega Pack Vol.1 - odd. 34.gif Gotta check in my files when I'm home.

In any case, even three dependencies for 14 lots is really nothing to be afraid of, especially when these dependencies are so widely used.

Things become unpleasant when there's a wild mix of dependencies (let's say Porkie's Paris props PLUS a pack of military props PLUS some Latin American props...) The chances that someone might have all these, or that they might be useful for more than this special case, are rather slim. But with SimGoober's and Cycledogg's props plus what's probably the most frequently downloaded texture pack ever, things should be fine. 2.gif

When SimGoober created his Mega Prop Pack, he also included his textures, I guess in order to make things easier. When I created the German release of this pack, I transferred the textures to the German version of the BSC Textures Mega Pack Vol. 1. I notified geoffhaw from the BSC, and he agreed that textures shouldn't be mixed with props, so he transferred them to the texture pack as well and told SimGoober to update his prop pack. At the moment, I can't remember if SimGoober's textures have been transferred to BSC Textures Vol. 1 or Vol. 2 (English versions), it might be best to download all three packages again (SimGoober's mega prop pack and the two texture packs), so you can update the English readme file accordingly. But as T Wrecks said, all those packs are among the most common dependencies, so regardless which version you have installed, there's a very high chance that you actually have everything that is needed.

Those Pearl lots look great, Delecto. Such a variety. T Wrecks did also a great job on the lots.

I am looking forward to downloading the Grand Kamelia as well.

Looks like these will accompany the Pearl Sunshine blocks very well, and I think that is fantastic 3.gif

A little bigger, perhaps a little more urban, but still able to mix in with the smaller buildings, just what we all like!

It's been a pleasure to contribute to this release - and I really appreciate how you value perfection and attention to detail higher than everything else. Patience is a very important virtue in BATting. 19.gif It's sometimes frustrating to watch how people who have all the talent it takes to pull off a perfect job constantly lose their battle against impatience - fortunately, that's clearly not the case here!

As for your latest building, the Montevideo, I don't have any suggestions at this stage. It looks great so far and should be perfect both for larger blocks and for standalone use.

these look great - I wouldn't mind seeing a few more props to give them a little more life, though. A couple of potted plants on the upper deck, or a hammock. A random rug hanging over a balcony or two.

Great work though, these are really cool buildings

-TWrecks, it was also a great pleasure for me my friend 19.gif. You have also produced an extraordinary job with these lots and I hope you will be interested in my next little creation. I plan to do the Montevideo in four or five color variations and in Orthogonal, 22.5 degree and 45 degree.

I will tease you with an update soon. 18.gif ...Best regards!

    -I started a building, a true one, with a tall tower 38.gif6.gif. More exactly a library. It's a request from WC_EEND.
