By request, here is a loading platform on this industrial spur in the city of Masonjar.

8wh0xhu.jpg

Foreground is a railroad embankment raised to elevated heavy rail level at 15.5m, background a sunken DTR line. The loading platform is created using Historic Harbor. I don't mind the seabirds on the posts. Industry is IRM W2W.

Neat! :golly: I chuckled a little at those four little factory buildings in the bottom left corner, all with a smokestack behind. However, the entire block works surprisingly good. I'm currently busy making non-W2W IRM lots, and this image has given my motivation a much-needed push. Please tell me, though, what is that corrugated metal shed that sits between that odd air purifier thingy (?) and the I-M tanks, two buildings down from the meat packing plant? I don't think I have this one, and it looks delightfully generic and useful.

Thank you. It's funny when they grew, I looked at them and was trying to decide which one to leave behind and which ones I should demolish, then my imagination said they have four furnaces that run at different times of the day, I don't know but when the warehouse lot popped up creating that little courtyard with the trucks in it, I liked the way that looked so I just kept them.  More IRM? Yes please!

The corrugated building I think is this one:

The air purifier thingy is what I like to call the most useful utility. Power and Water Supply, Air and Water pollution cleaner, all in one, which has been a big help in creating these little towns, without needing to build four big structures, seems to fit in well in Industrial areas, and even looks "ok" in farm areas as some sort of silo or "modern" water tower as I like to think of it in my head.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Great looking "loading dock". I am so getting that one!

Here's a picture of Sherwood's local train station and rail.

@TrickyMario76543  Forgive me for not being more detailed, didn't have the time to track down the exact names and links.

RRW Freight Station; MattB's Emu Station; and the Roundhouse and Repair House are somewhere on the STEX, if you type in train in the search field when you are on the SC4 Buildings thread, in the search bar click on the drop down menu and select 'this category' it will search just in that thread.

Caverley Park, on the outskirts of the dense city of Edingstow is where the Great North Western Mainline from Habrance (right) joins the North Coast suburban line (left) for the last few miles into Edingstow Central.script>

Close up of the viaduct detail as the line rumbles over gardens and rooftops. Having a lot of fun with the default Maxis trains recently. Aside from the lack of carriage doors and pantongraph, its quite and impressive looking train.

Old image from the pre-RRW era.
In the old days freight trains uses to service industries facilities directly, but now these spurs are almost completely devoted of traffic thanks to the advent of intermodel facilities (and my use of ploppables rather then growables :P). It was always neat to see those traffic paths;

These are still a work in progress. Overpass and Underpass functionality will come later during the build. This also includes new stations for the new BTM which borrows principles from the Real Railway Mod.

Some of you are probably wondering what has happened to the HSRP BTM mod I made last year? Here are some of the results!

Did you say "new" BTM?

Folks Eggman121 deserves more likes, you may not realize what you're looking at, potential new NAM items including a new texture and functionality, that's not a little bit of work
