An extension of an existing IC-line in my region, built next to the highway to avoid expropriations.

How did you get the RRW smooth curves to work? Mine don't.

Had the same problem, it's probably due to another railway mod interfering. Rivit's in my case.

I was going to ask the same thing.  I could never make smooth curves for my train lines that have multiple tracks running parallel to each other.  Haven't tried it with RRW yet as I still have not installed NAM 32.  Just about to do that now though.

The station is the Korail sunken station. You can download it here. Download link is in the upper right corner, make sure you install the dependency (there is a link to the stex).

Probably some other mod interfering. I had a Japanese mod left that added dirt under the curves.

This is a new function of NAM 32, all my parallel lines are built in the last week :D The footprint of the curves is reduced, which makes it possible now to build lines that are parallel (this is also the case if you don't install the RRW).

Here are the railways leading into (and out of) downtown Cranksville's grand central station.

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

What's a good railyard BAT, I have North County Dude's stuff but when I plop it only the trains show up with no tracks or ground textures. I downloaded all the dependencies for it so I'm wondering if I missed something for a railyard BAT.

NCD released 2 identical texture packs but with different IDs; you'll need if you already have and vice-versa

I don't think this goes here but here is something crazy I just did. Hahaha. Pardon my ignorance. I'm not really the one who cares about transportation systems until this time. :P

See that grid? It only means I'm working on something! See you at my CJ. :D

Very nice pictures everyone (:
I'm a big fan of rail transport, so here I present two (yet very incomplete) transport layouts for my major city:
First picture: The main commuter hub with the local S-bahn lines (commuter lines)

The second picture is the main central station, mainly for long distance services but also some S-bahn lines.

Hm, odd. Try to paste the following link in your address bar. I think that should work.

http://cafe.naver.com/sc4labs/1049

Simtropolis links have been corrupted lately; they tend to end up with a nonsense prefix rather than directing to the appropriate site. The solution for whenever this happens is to open link in a new tab (via the right-click menu) and delete the bits that don't appear to be part of the link. I hope Dirk and others are aware of this problem.

Some FA STR on the bottom there would look a lot better than all of the S-curves. Otherwise it's a very fine railyard!

Hadn't thought about that.. but yeah, that would absolutely look better. I like to imagine that curvy bit makes sim train conductors' day.

Very nice, ROFLYoshi! I like how the tracks split off at different angles over on the left. Too bad there's no way to create a pedestrian overpass to reach the center platform between the two adjacent pairs of tracks.

Some very fine work here as of late! I think this is one of the better CBC threads we have.

tumblr_n32x32XJWF1rcw94uo1_1280.png

This a four track station which serves as a regional hub. A yet-to-be-named avenue passes underneath it.

Where did you get the station, the railroad texture, the tunnel, and the parking lot?
