Episode 5.36 Taxi
 

The end of the evening, and quite dark by now.

 

Jon's car is ready. "Care for a ride, Alexis?" he asks casually.

"No, thanks, I'll catch a taxi."

Jon raises an eyebrow. "Good luck at this time of night! I thought we could talk about tonight's events."

"Might be a little obvious, don't you think?"

"I suppose you're right. Good luck with that cab, then."

 

 

It wasn't too long before she was back in Tremonde.

 

 

Back in the familiar central business area.

 

 

Back in front of Ben Tower. Now how on earth had Roland known about that connection? He normally spent his time worrying about planting trees and taking long walks in the mountains. Someone must be doing his dirty work. If only she could find out who without making him suspicious. And she knew she had better make sure plan B was all in order. If the other Nord Ouest cities really did want to go fully independent she knew exactly what would happen based on geography - she'd be on the wrong side of the river.

Episode 5.37 On the edge
 

It's been quite a few episodes since we left Westmouth.

 

 

Westmouth, where the mayor lives on the edge of town.

 

 

And by on the edge of town, we really mean the cliff's edge of town.

 

 

Westmouth, where Charity has a question for Sue Ellen.

 

"How long have you been mayor of Westmouth?" she asks.

 

Sue Ellen thinks for a minute or two, then shakes her head. "I can't seem to remember... how odd... there's a part of me that wants to say 200 years... but wouldn't that be impossible?"

 

In response, Charity simply stares at Sue Ellen.

 

 

Westmouth.... where Sue Ellen is beginning to think that either Charity is truly off her rocker, or that what seems impossible may just be the only possibility that makes sense.

 

In either case that cliff's edge might be tempting... it might be very tempting indeed.
