Ceres is a quiet rural community, mostly known for its peaceful agrarian lifestyle. Persephone Hadden, the mayor, is more than a little tired of being not much more than the breadbasket of Kirkbridge.

 

 

Hopefully the invitation to dinner at The Chateau is more than just a social event...

It's that time of year again, and ELLISMAIL has issued its Christmas stamps.

 

This year the post office commissioned 4 photographers to capture structures around the Valley that are lit for Christmas.

 

 

1st class - Casino Royale, Port Sinclair

 

2nd class - The Fairground Wheel, Eloff

 

Extra postage - Heritage Square, Ellington

 

International - St Basils, Kirkbridge

Episode 5.30 Getting ready in Remillard

 

Mayor Jon Levielle is getting ready for dinner at the Chateau. All he has left to do is to put on his cufflinks. The limousine is already idling at the door.

 

Jon's brain, however, is far from idle, processing at a rapid rate. Roland may think he has the upper hand by holding the dinner at his hillside cottage, as Jon likes to call it, but Remillard is the economic powerhouse of the northwest region (if you disregard the Brothers over at Kirkbridge - they rely more on mysticism than trade, and seem to be doing well by accident rather than planning) and any plans will require his approval.

Hi, vivapanda. Thanks. I had always planned to fill the peninsula with Kirkbridge, the other cities grew in a more haphazard/random/natural way (take your pick of which adjective you like best). I haven't done any massive demolition/rebuilding in my region, so these cities and towns are here to stay for the foreseeable future.

Mayor Alexis Calais runs Tremonde, so called for its 3 small hills, which separate a more rural interior from a built up riverfront.
 

 
Alexis is always nervous when she sees mail from The Chateau. She is always worried about her position among the other north-west mayors as she is the only one living on the south bank of the river.
 
And something else has happened which she fervently hopes nobody else knows about.
