A cracking idea, and exactly what I wanted, but packing it as a Windows-only installer (is it really so hard to install plug-ins on the Windows version?) means it's unusable.

A couple of questions: 1) Are these trees seasonal? 2) Have you included some "dummy" (blank) props in the prop family so that the placement of trees appears more random?

Love the lots - hate the installer.

You will have to make peace with the installers ... that is the way we are going and that is it. Our lots are getting more and more advanced and many users struggle to maintain their Plugins properly. Installers make updating more organised too. I believe the BIG TS2 sites also goes this way.

For those who have problems with the installer: On PEGs site, http://simsite.us, all lots will be available as standard ZIP files.

These installers work on all 32-bit versions of Windows (ie.. win95 thru XP). They won't work on MACs. As accomodating as we try to be, we can't hold back on 99% of the community to accomodate a small minority.

There are ZIP versions of these files on the support site but not all developers upgrading to this install will have that option. There are numerous products that allow MACs to run Windows-based apps. I suggest that the MAC users discuss this and share ideas.

If you don't like installers, get over it. It's hassle free compared to those archives within archives that people love to make, and there is a license agreement in it, so Peg's intellectual property is properly protected. (Pardon my alliteration) This is incredible and hardly deserves a 7.5 rating.

For anyone having problems with the .exe go here https://www.simtropolis.com/lots/details.cfm?id=4528 hehe sorry just had to do that. A workaround for the .exe may come in the future, but like any ported program for the Mac expect a delay but don't dagger the lot because of it.

i'm not sure why constructive criticism is so often met with both a figural (and now a literal) F-U. is your goal to make this look like malice rather than good-natured mistake? if you didn't mean to leave Mac Users out of future releases - than be a little more humble about your error.

Excellent work, and we should rate the lots on the greatness of the work, not on the installers, becuase Pegasus is trying to benefits those who have windows, wich is the MAJORITY!!!

why choose to exclude Mac Users in favour of including those too stupid to install a couple files? most of you don't even need an installer - the fact that you're throwing your support at it is almost spiteful. why must we always be chided for using a different operating system?
