About This File

The Cyclone opened in 1927 and is one of the oldest rollercoasters operating. Without question, it is the benchmark for which most wooden coasters are made. It has the distinction of being the most copied rollercoaster ever built. 7 "clones" are currently operating throught the world. The Cyclone was designated a New York City Landmark in 1988.

Thanks to Vlakhaas, SimGoober, Equinox, Caliban and others who helped me along the way with offering advice, computer rendering time, and development.

Cost: 15000

You will find the lot in the Park Menu

This version does not have nightlights.

If you have questions, please refer to the thread in the BAT open discussion "The Cyclone" rollercoaster project.

cool. But too bad for the lack of night lights. Loss of points there. But other than that, it is pretty good!

Yes!! I got first comment on this historic lot! This is great! I looked at this a long time ago and thought it was cool. Then I thought the project died... BUT HERE it is great job and work 10/10! I am hoping this is the begining of roller coaster lots and maybbe an amusement park someday...

dev- stop doing that. Just leaving "!" is rude. Since it is "post a comment" not "post random punctuation", acvtually make something of your comment!

You should add nitelights though. I know it would be hard but, buildings without nightlites kinda die at night... PLEASE add them...

Sorry, didn't mean to submit a blank! Kind of appropriate though, as I'm speechless...

It sounds cool, and I hope more of such amusement park lots will follow. However, I was thinking that the park menus for many users are already cluttered, and it would go better in a different menu.

Very Nice! I hope this is the start of Simtropolis filling that vacancy of not having significant amusement park lots. I'm ready to ride!!!
