Yea I agree, this is probably your best BAT yet. I had a thought. The whitish color that you used for the upper flat roof on the side closest to us in the picture ( I think tha tmade sense) something like that, maybe a tad brighter, would have looked better on the Aud than the much disputed roof that was used. It doesn't looks as....cartoonish (couldn't think of a word).

Great looking buildings guys, I haven't even had a chance to practice my gradual learning of the BAT. Between the last week of classes and exams coming, plus work,I've been sort of busy. Looking good though.

Comin along very nicely, and yes that whole thing would be really massive. Personally i don't think it's really necessary but either way will be great. Without doing all of it it become more usable in cities in the game that already exist, but would be less true to life.

Outstanding job guys, both buildings are coming along really well. I also made a discovery in my house. I have a book about the city of bufflao that has tons of old picutres of some various buildings in the city as well as like road layout maps and sketches for designs that were made that would sort of build a modern look for downtown. One shows lafayette (spelling??) square in the backdrop of this big modern looking canal with glas buildings up around it that are supposed to be like restaurants and stuff, it's pretty interesting. The title of it is Buffalo, New York: Design Research on the Retail Core Written by Robert G. Shibley. My brother got it for i think his urban planning classes at UB. IF anyone is in need of a picutre from it, or wants to see if a picture exists in just email me and I'll check it out and then scan if you want. ****EDIT**** Just had an interesting idea. It would probably take alot of work and research on the buildings but it'd be pretty sweet to build one of the UB campuses and use them in the game as a university. Of course it'd be a massive lot in the game and would be extremely hard to really make. Same thing could go for like other campuses anywhere. I really wish I could actually use the BAT instead of trying to figure out everythign throuhg these tutorials, I'm working my way up to building a simple house right now, lol gotta start somewhere i guess.

I've got a couple of ideas. Basically any or all of the Frnak LLoyd Wright buildings would be good, maybe falling water. Other than those I'd say maybe some ancient stuff. Like someone's interpretation of the colossus at Rhodes... Or the the tower of babel... Or here's a smaller building, I don't know the actual name but many refer to it as the dancing building..

Hmm, a little better I guess, I still can't quite put my finger on what makes it look awkward. It almost looks too cartoonish, or like the roof is made of extrememly bright paper. I dunno. Either way I'll use it.

You guys are the best, you combine some of the best abilities for modelling with the scenery of my home city. I must say that as an onlooker the roof to the aud looks awkward. I know it is basically just white like that but it seems sort of unfisinished. Maybe it's somethign to do wiht the texutre? I really don't know and I have no skill wiht this tool but something does seem off about it. EDIT*** That roof is definitely bright white though so I dunno. Either wya I'll download it at use it.

I agree that it would be odd seeing it that massive in the game, but as was said before, it would seem that massive and unreal in life itself. I for one think that this would be a great BAT projct for anyone with some skill with the thing, even if someone used it more as inspiration and built like a smaller version it'd look pretty sweet.
