Hole Digging Lots  2

About This File

This package contains nine one-tile long lots that have been modded to dig holes, and one that does the reverse by lifting the ground level up. The hole digging lots have been designed to dig entrances for tunnels, but they can be used in many ways (digging a ditch for a sunken highway, or for an underpass are examples). New hole digging lots include an avenue digging lot an a lot for sunken highways. The pictures show how a tunnel can be created in 6 simple steps and a sunken highway in 5 steps using these lots. smoncrie

That is a great idea and will surely help those who are not so skilled with the terraforming tool!! Good work!

Way to go! Any chance you could make a set for rail, avenues and ground level highways easily by adapting what you've learned?

Fresno, rail and ground highway lots are included, holes for avenues can be dug using the road version. Were you thinking of non-tunnel applications? New lots can be made if you have a special purpose in mind.

smoncrie: Well, the only modes I use are roads, avenues, highways, rail, and monorail. So other than elevated highways and monorail it sounds like you've got it covered!

Fesno, monorail is included. Elevated highways can be converted to ground highway just before the tunnel. This uses a smaller hole and IMO looks better. Elevated rail can be converted to subway, and can probably use the monorail hole.
