The Alessi tower was a building consisting of a three-floor tower with a terrace used as a lookout lounge. It was built with an eclectic architecture of exotic taste; it was located in Catania, Sicily. The building was built at the end of the nineteenth century, on a project by the architect Carlo Sada, on behalf of Salvatore Alessi, owner of the homonymous garden. According to some, the style recalled the eclectic language (Eclectism-Catanese liberty) in the Gothic style. It was demolished in 1963.
La torre Alessi era un edificio costituito da un serbatoio d'acqua per irrigazione e da una sovrastruttura a torre a tre elementi con funzione di salotto belvedere. Fu realizzata con un'architettura eclettica di gusto esotico; si trovava a Catania, in Sicilia. L'edificio fu costruito alla fine dell'Ottocento, su progetto dell'architetto Carlo Sada, per conto di Salvatore Alessi, proprietario dell'omonimo giardino. Lo stile, secondo alcuni, richiamava il linguaggio eclettico (Eclettismo-liberty catanese)in stile goticizzante. Fu demolita nel 1963.
