The Teatro Massimo Vittorio Emanuele is an opera house and opera company located on the Piazza Verdi in Palermo, Sicily. It was dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II. It is the biggest in Italy, and one of the largest of Europe (at the time of its inauguration, it was - with its area of 7730 sqm. - the third largest opera house in Europe after the Palais Garnier in Paris, and the K. K. Hof-Opernhaus in Vienna), renowned for its perfect acoustics.

Il Teatro Massimo Vittorio Emanuele, meglio noto come Teatro Massimo, di Palermo è il più grande edificio teatrale lirico d'Italia, uno dei più grandi d'Europa e terzo per ordine di grandezza architettonica dopo l'Opéra National di Parigi e la Staatsoper di Vienna. Ambienti di rappresentanza, sale, gallerie e scale monumentali circondano il teatro vero e proprio, formando un complesso architettonico di grandiose proporzioni.

A stunning and detailed model of a fascinating building I'd not been aware of before checking this out. Having been blown away by the quality of your recent offerings, particularly the sculptures, I can't help but ask: will the night lights that added so much to the sculptures be featured in this BAT?
