Purely fictional, I made these pitched roof apartments to fill a niche and expand on older buildings that I have made by including both diagonal and orthogonal variants. There really is quite a lot variety in these and they look rather nice well all grown together (whether it is all diagonal, all ortho, or a combination).
These are inspired by more modern European-styled apartments but could be anywhere in the world.
The lot and models come in lots of variations: all of them are growable R§§ iterations. The larger 5x5 and 6x6 lots are landscaped, and to help these grow, use the CTRL key while zoning.
The Ortho and Diagonal version share similar stats to ensure that each has an equal chance of growing.
When these all grow together and align, you can make quite cohesive, large residential complexes from them. Make sure they don't upgrade by checking the 'make historic' box on the query.

There are two model files in this download. You must select the appropriate file from the download. The file suffixed with 'DN' is for those users with a night-time darkening mod installed. The file suffixed with 'MN' is for users who do not have any such mods installed.
If you are unsure whether you have a night-darkening mod installed, then choose the Maxis night version.
If you use the dark nite version, you will need a dark nite mod. (http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/23089-simfox-day-and-nite-modd/)
