About This File

There's only one LDS temple on Simtropolis, so I decided to create the Salt Lake City Temple.  The Salt Lake Temple is the crown jewel of Salt Lake City.  It took 40 years to build and each brick was hand cut from the quarry and placed on others (no mortar used).  This is my first ever BAT.  I plan on adding more LDS temples in the future (some are architectural marvels).

It's a Landmark (I haven't figured out how to make it a reward, still learning).  Lot Size is 6x5.

It has night-lighting.  I tried my best to recreate the real-life version.

I am open to suggestions, if anyone has observations and constructive criticism regarding the model.

Pretty good work for your first BAT! I'd like to suggest that you put all files into one ZIP-folder, it's easier to upload and download. About making a lot a reward: I can only help you with the menu position. Double-click on the Property OccupantGroups (this controls the menu position) and enter this value:

0x00001005,0x0000150b

The first one means Civic Lot, the second one puts a lot in the Reward Menu.

TY! TY! TY! TY for making this!!!

I've created a map with a mountain that is higher than anything else on the map so I could place a temple on the top. Thought I was going to have to use some other temple & some how make it look like a LDS temple. Thanx to you I now have one with Angel Moroni & all :)

Thank you for your review.  I don't see that option in the software I use (GMax, SC4 Plug-In Manager, and Lot Editor).  Note: I am running these programs through WINE on Linux.  It took quite a bit of work just to get GMax to load.  I've tried PIM, but it seems there are some compatibility issues/conflicts between it and WINE (sometimes it works, other times it crashes).  I tried in PIM and can see OccupantGroups, but unable to change it.  I will need to do so further research/investigation into how to create rewards.  I'm barely cutting my teeth on this.
